There's not much on the immediate doorstep but we weren't there for sightseeing anyway.

Stunning house renovated by Karl the owner. Exactly as pictured. Quiet, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the host has really thought of everything.

Excellent location, stayed for a first time event at Anfield stadium. Taxi there, walked back. Extremely helpful host, great facilities and breakfast - wouldn't hesitate to stay again

We were greeted by Karl on arrival and shown around. Room was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The whole house was spotless will definitely return.

Every hotel does not think of ladies with long hair as never the right towel available. Suggestion to have slightly bigger hand towels or an additional towel to be able to dry "long" hair!

Karl was a great host. Although on the main road it was quiet. Easy access into town by public transport or Uber. The bed was very comfortable! Lovely place to stay!

Not having to spend ages de-misting the mirror before shaving after my shower! A very pleasant change from normal experience 🙂 Very friendly welcome from Karl and helpful information from him Really well set out and decorated room Lovely fresh fruit for breakfast Quiet neighbourhood with park and bus routes very close at hand

the amazing customer service feom start to finish. Nothing was too much for Karl. This property boasts a air of elegance , and perfection. The rooms are extremely comfortable with nice little touches throughout. Breakfast time was no different. it is a continental breakfast with vast choices of fruit, waffles, Yougerts Cereal, and tea and coffee. if I was to stay in Liverpool I would most definitely stay here

There is nothing not to like, if I had one comment it is there is no cooked breakfast, the alternative cold choice is good. I do not know if is was a temporary or planned but that is the only thing missing.

The property has been very tastefully upgraded, retaining the period features, it is very clean, convenient for sightseeing and very close to the new concert venue Salt and Tar, which we were there for. Lovely stay, will use it again if coming to Liverpool.

Nothing at all. We loved it.

It was lovely, clean and comfy room. Large and comfy bed. Ensuite bathroom very clean, with lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was also great and delicious. There is also small kitchen available, with crockery and fridge if you need to store anything. Karl is very helpful and friendly host.

The only thing that could have improved it would have maybe been some pastries & maybe a toaster to make toast for breakfast however it was described in the description what there was for breakfast so this isnt a complaint just a suggestion & the coffee from the coffee machine was really nice, the cereal was definately nice & fresh its just i personally prefer to have something savoury aswell like toast.

Our 2nd stay at Karl’s guest house and yet again it did not disappoint. Fantastic host with a ton of helpful tips and suggestions for nearby things to do/places to visit, Karl cannot do enough for you. A truly beautiful property, immaculate, comfortable rooms & ideally located just a short 10-15min outside of Liverpool centre. We have already rebooked for next year, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you Karl!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, the bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it.Breakfast was very lovely with lots to choose from. Location is great as the center is a short bus ride away. Karl is a fantastic host, looks after the guests very well. I highly recommend and will be returning when we next visit Liverpool.

Lovely accommodation and warm welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good, with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice. Easy access into Liverpool. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully renovated house , the room was lovely and very clean everything you needed was provided, the bed was so comfortable, Karl the host was very friendly , nothing was to much trouble he was so-helpful with an early check in , the breakfast provided was lovely everything was very fresh , would definitely stay again .

Breakfast choices are a little limited. Toast would be nice and some croissants and savoury options. Also would be good to provide some tourist information in the room.
