It was a bit strange that one of the ovens, when opened, could short-circuit the whole house, but I'd imagine that that problem is solved now. It wasn't much of an issue anyway because there were 2 ovens, and we were able to contact the owner immediately to get it solved for us (he lives nearby).

I liked that everything in the kitchen was provided to us, even detergent! There were also foldable racks to put your laundry on, and tons of space despite the fact that this place has 8 rooms. While, of course, it is difficult to comment about the roommates aspect since they'll always be changing, the rules in the house are clear as to who has what space and what belongs to who, and everyone has their own cutlery and crockery, and also some common ones to share on top of that.

I understood that there was off road parking though this may have been my error. Parking near the house was difficult a couple of times and important for me as I was taking in and out music equipment and also was experiencing back problems during my time there. Similarly the narrow and twisted staircase made access difficult for me and carrying heavy cases and bags near impossible. (The host was very helpful in this respect, see above).

The facilities in the house and the room were very good. The room itself was large and comfortable. The shared facilities were very good and the fridge / cupboard space welcome. It meant that being self-sufficient and independent was straightforward. Desk space in the room was generous. Messages were responded to promptly during my stay and the host was extremely helpful when I need assistance carrying my luggage out.

Doors, the doors are super loud and you cant shut them or open them quietly. the locks on the doors make alot of noise too. The blinds in my room were hard to use. The windows are really hard to open and shut

The tenants had not cleaned the Kitchenware. The weekly Towels change for the long term stay is recommended

The Location is very convenient to City Centre, Universities, Mall. The food stores and Restaurants are located nearby. There is a big walking trail/park nearby.

Small point. My room had blinds which didn't completely keep out sunlight when closed. So, staying in mid-June with excellent sunny weather, I was woken-up very early in the morning by the sunlight. As it happens, I wanted to wake early anyway, but this could be a problem for others.

Location was fine, Kitchen was well organised and clean. Would definitely recommend it. Also I thought I may have left something behind when I left - I asked about this, and was later contacted to say the cleaner confirmed there was nothing left, so I was impressed my query was properly dealt with. (I had in fact later dropped the item at a train station).

It's quite a small room Nobody's fault but a dog mess on front lawn so could use keeping front gate firmly shut!

The Landlord was available for help. The property is very spacious from a British standard. Kitchen was excellent. A lady cleaner comes regularly to maintain the common area. Linen & towels impeccably clean. Heating was good. Felt like an extension of home. A very good environment. Guests were respectful and stuck to basic house rules. Wifi very good. Tv in the room. Toilet is attached to the room. Very , very good. Shall surely come back. City centre accessible. Small shops for groceries and foodstuffs, pharmacy — all within easy walking distance.

The shower pressure was poor. Bed slightly too springy and bit of noise and light leakage.

Room was on the smaller side, but that's it.

My son stayed here for the week before his student accommodation was ready, it was literally round the corner from where he was moving to. Room was spotless and he said his bed comfortable. All the lodgers had plenty of space in kitchen for their own belongings. He said he felt safe which was the most important thing for us as he was only 16
