Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe bed would bang on the wall with the slightest movement and it felt like the furnishings in the room were very cheap. The hotel itself looks stunning inside but needs a bit of TLC as it feels like it wouldn't take much to bring the place up to a better standard. When you get above the 2nd floor WiFi doesn't exist and the TV in the room was far too small considering how far away you are from the TV when in bed.

United KingdomWe went advised that there was a function going on all weekend. Breakfast was an ordeal. It wasn’t very warm. Plates were cold. Our room was very dated and a bit tatty. They were areas that we weren’t allowed in such as the wave bar and the mezzanine level. The residence bar closed far too early.
The Adelphi is a beautiful old building. Some areas are looking a little tired, but I won’t hesitate to come back.

Guernseyroom service was non existent. room was a bit dusty. the room we asked for a couple of months ago wasn't given. we had a back room with no view.fire alarm went off twice. wifi was abysmal. I missed lots of messages on my business phone and the laptop didnt join at all. I had to go outside to other businesses to connect.even though we like the hotel we dont feel we will return.
location is amazing, building is being upgraded I believe . its always been our go to hotel in Liverpool. the room was adequate, the shower amazing. very quiet.
