A beautiful and unique cottage, with plenty of space for all of us and a good sized and equipped kitchen. The summer house and view were stunning and enjoyed by all.

The cottage was lovely. The owners were really helpful, even coming out at 10.30 at night with spare keys to lock one of the doors. The garden area was peaceful. We had all the facilities we needed, with plenty space for all of us. The owners of the local shop were friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for places to visit. We had a really wonderful holiday. Thanks.

Parking on the lane outside of the cottage does require caution as tractors and other large farm vehicles require access. There is an agreement with the nearby glamping site if you want off-street parking.

Very comfortable beds, a massive bath, and a rural old charm really make this cottage a worthy place to stay. If you like sitting outside there is also a large garden wirh a summerhouse and barbeque. There is a pub, petrol station, and a general store straddling the A40 adjacent to the cottage.

Quirky, comfortable, next door to a great pub and over the road from a local shop. The large jacuzzi was a real bonus.

We couldn't find how to plug in our amazon stick to the TV - this is a very minor issue, as the weather was far too good to watch the TV :).

The property was well looked after, very clean and provided everything we needed for a weekend away. It was particularly well positioned on a quiet lane, having a fantastic pub within walking distance and a wonderful, very well stocked village shop.

Some of the ceilings and door frames are low and the men kept hitting their heads! The hot tub room has a very pretty but slippery tiled floor and we felt there should be more mats available to prevent accidents.

Lovely cottages. We stayed in the 3 bed and 2 bed, which are joined by the garden and so we all had access to a hot tub. Lovely big hot tub which was very warm with good jets. We had everything we needed and the beds are very comfortable.

If self catering we would suggest bringing extra cutlery and sharp knives. Be aware that the shower leaked from beneath the bath of which the owners are aware. Also take care in the garden room as because it's an outside room, when it rains heavily the water does run down the outside wall onto the high gloss floor tiles.

Fantastic huge hot tub in a lovely enclosed, under cover garden room. Comfy beds, pillows and furniture. Plenty of hot water and powerful shower.Lovely thick fluffy towels. Central heating is very efficient. Owners were extremely quick in responding to a couple of queries we had. Lovely pub and we'll stocked village shop within a few yards of the cottage.

2nd bathroom was a little tricky. Garden access was very difficult if not able bodied. Head height in kitchen challenging if over 5”10”!

Location, parking, great for the family, good value for money. Shop opposite, perfect.

Unfortunately we only got to use the hot tub once due to the overpowering fumes from the chlorine. Even with both the door and window wide open, it stung everyone's eyes. It also left a burning sensation on our skin.

Lovely cottage with huge kitchen/diner and living room. Very clean, friendly, helpful owners. Great shop just across the road.

There was a building site directly opposite, otherwise the location is good. We could have done with some kindling to light the fire. We couldn't get it going.

The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host answered any queries immediately . I would definitely recommend it. Wonderful village shop just across the road.

We had trouble locking the front door and were unable to contact the host. We managed in the end so it wasn’t a problem. The TV was very temperamental due to the internet connection but this was no fault of the host and wasn’t an issue for us.

Great location, lovely cottage. We particularly liked the quirky features of the cottage. Village shop just across the road with everything you might need. Great place to use as a base to visit the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
