The bed was probably the comfiest I have ever stayed in, the bedsheets were so soft! The room was very cosy. I wish I could have stayed for longer, will bring my family next time :)

Nothing at all. Can't think of anything to put here. The water pressure in the shower is a bit lacklustre but that's not really the hosts fault.

First and foremost, the guy who runs/owns this place is one of the nicest hosts that I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. Informative and chatty which really adds to the overall experience. My room was a single so a tad small as to be expected but the use of the space is excellent so you don't actually feel cramped or claustrophobic in it. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was adequate for the time of year so I wasn't too hot or cold. The shower room is well laid out and has an abundance of little added extras that I generally don't come across in other hotels or guests houses. This is my second time staying in this place and in this particular room and I wouldn't think twice about returning.

Couldn’t fault it!

The host was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The little touches were great, like a fan in the room as weather was warm. Breakfast was amazing!

The room we had was up two flights which didn't bother us but might not suit everybody.

Excellent location to the town centre. The property was also clean, comfortable and had enough suite facilities.we were also given a parking permit which was good.

The only thing that puzzled us was the fact that the electric switch for the water in the shower was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom! (Room 2)

There was an excellent choice for breakfast and the location was within easy walking distance of restaurants etc. A shared breakfast table meant it was quite sociable.

I didn’t like that we had to leave so soon…would like to have stayed a couple more days. We liked everything about it.

Burnside is in a beautiful location very near the firth and on a quiet street. The room was fresh and clean, the decor was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Burnside is a treasure and we’d love to return one day.

Our room was ready to check in and it had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice toiletries were provided and There was a fan to use as it was a really hot weekend. The bed was spacious and extremely comfy too. We had everything we needed for our stay and will definitely stay there again. Cn totally recommend.

There was nothing to dislike

A warm welcome from Paul. Room was on top floor of the house (no lift) and was beautifully decorated with good ensuite/shower. View of the bay over the roof of the houses opposite. Tasty breakfast with several options to choose from via tick list on the night before. Cooked allowing for allergies with no concern. Generous supply of tea/coffee etc... and even a mint on my towels (nice touch). Fan also in the room which was needed in the heatwave.
