It is tight on luggage storage. Not a problem for a couple of nights but you would need to be organised if staying longer.

Stayed in a shepherd's hut, a nice and cosy space with a comfortable double bed, kitchenette and shower. Really well thought out, with BBQ all set up and wood for the stove. Nicely done!

We stayed for a weekend in April. The shepherd's hut exceeded our expectations. The standard is very high and the location is beautiful. We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend this quiet, secluded get-away to anyone wishing for a peaceful time in Devon.

There was nothing that I disliked.

A warm and lovely welcome by Steve and Sharon and the Shepherd Hut was a delight. Set in lovely grounds with thoughtfully placed seating with all the amenities you could need. I really loved the option of the firepit and BBQ and the little wood burner in the hut kept me snug and toasty. An excellent place to come if you are looking to rewind.

It's well located on the outskirts of Ivybridge. If the weather had been better, then the private terrace and views would have been lovely! The hosts were very generous with sharing info and tips about things to do locally.

The perfect location to spend a Very Peaceful New Year's Eve with a warm and welcoming host to a well equipped room. The bed was comfortable which made for a good night's sleep. The excellent breakfast was the perfect way to start the New Year.

Amazing hospitality by the hosts. Full English breakfast was provided with fresh honey and preserves made by the hosts themselves. Hosts are extremely knowledgeable on the area and gave so much guidance on things to do. Room was clean and we were greeted by home made shortbread which was a lovely touch. Plant based milk is also provided for tea/coffee. Would highly recommend.

Nothing about this accommodation can be deemed a dislike, hosts were so personable and friendly, breakfast was superb, room was comfortable and clean ad quiet.

Hosts we superb, from welcome on arrival till departure after our 2 night stay. Nothing was too much, a real treat and a b and b with character. A pleasure to stay there cannot recommend enough
