Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomStaying in July meant it was warm in the room and we had to keep the window open which made it difficult to sleep at night, but it wasn’t too bad considering it was on the top floor.
Great location near to Camden Town underground and very secure. Had everything we needed for a two night stay and having a fridge and a coffee machine was a bonus!

United KingdomI was in Room 2 and there is a boiler outside and it's noisy and you will hear the front door. A note for elderly there's a steel stairs to climb before you get to the property. It's a balancing act of your needs. Great location, Good Room but having to put up with noise. Ear plugs recommended.
The room for facilities was great besides having a table under the TV that can't be used and is in the way of getting to the window. It's totally ideal for overnight stays. I would recommend the accommodation there's a but.

United KingdomThe only thing that annoyed me was the blanket that was short! And old which is not suitable and comfy for a couple and no spare bed sheet as well, considering that we were there for more than one day.
Everything was perfect as a brand new building and household items. The shower and hot water was great.the room nice and warm.

United KingdomThe blind!!!! It was basically just a blind to stop people seeing in. It didn't stop any light what so ever and there was a light on outside ALL night. It was like sleeping with a light on in the room. Also there was a plug badly damaged and looked so dangerous near a water source. I'm epileptic so I need a good couple hours sleep at least but that 'blind' prevented me from doing so. If there was a proper blind or curtain I would definitely be back.
Easy access to Camden high street and the tube etc. The room had everything you could need and the bed was comfortable. It was really good value for money. I stay in London a lot and might go back. The check in was easy and all done online which is fine with me. Yes you do need to go down an ally but it's got good lightening and tells you that you are being recorded.

TurkeyThere was no hair dryer when we entered the room. I wrote for two days and they responded and helped on the third day. The shades would not close and there was a lot of light coming in from the street. The toilet was in a really narrow space, unfortunately it was not possible to sit straight. There are 15-20 steps to climb before reaching the door where the rooms are. Although it is not too much, it can be uncomfortable to carry heavy luggage.
The location is very central and a few steps away from transportation vehicles such as underground and buses. Passing through the doors is safe, and the noise when passing through the outer door acts as a deterrent if someone is following you because it is in a side street. Even though our room faced the street, the windows reduced the noise considerably. The cleaning was very good, most items such as towels, shampoo, detergent, plates, forks were available. The heating was also quite sufficient.

United Statesvery little surface area other than the one desk in the room. the bed is rather uncomfortable; hard and like sleeping on cardboard. the place is also down the lane from a hospital so you often hear sirens throughout the entire night; being up so high can help but earplugs were a life saver. while i found it fun most of the times, the long climb up several flights of stairs, (outdoors and indoors) could be tiring if you have heavy luggage. no rubbish bin other than the one in the restroom which is fine but be mindful.
enjoyed how it was sort of tucked away; a flat with a view above the main Camden Street. enjoyed the privacy, the shower and restroom were well kept. the place is well furnished with good lighting, warm often and out of all the places I spent in London, it had the better tasting water from the tap. the abundance of pillows and the heavy sheets helped with sleep. staff was friendly and polite. the space was rather clean. great location! in between two underground stations and several wonderful restaurants and places to shop, that was worth it alone for the few days we spent. the television was pretty large as well!

IsraelTons of issues with this stay. The room was in very poor condition – the tap barely worked, and on some days there was almost no running water at all in the shower and toilets as well, which resulted in toilet getting clogged. I saw other customers complaining here in comments, and yet nothing was handled. The location felt very unpleasant and unsafe, with a dirty surrounding area and a creepy. Extremely noisy with sirens, cars, and people shouting in the street – impossible to sleep without earplugs. No elevator, had to carry our luggage up three floors. During the entire stay, trash was never taken out, we got new towels only after asking.
Room was clean.

United KingdomDO NOT BOOK! They never answer their phone (not even when booking.com agents call them), they do not reply to messages sent to them, they will not provide a invoice if you need one! I booked this property for a young colleague who was coming to London by herself for the first time. On arrival at the property she couldn't get in (they sent a message with 3 codes for 3 different doors in order to access the room). As she was strugling the access the property, she tried to call the number displayed on the listing. They never answered. She then had to book a different place herself for that night as it was clear she wouldn't be able to access this property. After all this happened, I got in touch with booking.com. All I will say is that I spent over 5 hours on the phone with them in the last few weeks, I never received a refund and basically I am being blamed for making the booking. Booking.com will not look after you or provide a refund! SO DON'T GET FOOLED! There are plenty other places in Camden you can book!

United KingdomThe host doesn't respond to Booking.com messages, texts or phone calls. Booking.com have also tried reaching out directly on my behalf and had no response. I stayed twice for work trips and then requested VAT invoices so I could submit them as business expenses, but because of the lack of response I haven't been able to get them and have had to cover the cost of the trips myself. For that reason I wouldn't book again for a work trip.
It was reasonably priced and in a handy location. The room was clean and had everything that was needed for a short stay.

Costa RicaWe felt very unsafe. The entrance to the room is a dangerous alleyway and smells strongly of urine and vomit. You have to have three codes to enter. Once you enter, you'll come across another alleyway where you have to climb metal stairs. Once you reach the building's door, be prepared to climb several floors with your suitcases; there's no elevator. And in our room, the water kept leaking. The sheets weren't very clean.
The room was comfortable and nice. It's close to the subway. But there is a reason they only put pictures of the room.
