Whilst not a big deal, only having one bathroom for a family of 5 adults.

Stunning home overlooking the water and mountains. A perfect place to just sit and be present. Great place to base yourself on Isle of Skye. Host provided loads of information.

I can’t think of a single thing that was not fantastic.

This cottage on the sea is a real gem. The location and ambience are beyond compare. Most importantly the owner has tuned every detail to be sure visitors are safe, completely comfortable and that they will have a memorable experience. Excellent!

The property is well equipped and very clean. It would have been a perfect stay except for a very petty gesture of the host. This property is not exactly cheap. I booked a stay for 3 nights and only 2 laundry capsules and 1 dishwashing tablet were provided. On checking, it was explained that it is self catering and I should go buy any extras myself. When I arrived at this property, I have already stayed at 4 other properties in Scotland in the same trip and they were for 2 nights each and none was so stingy even though they were also self catering. It’s so inconvenient to expect the guests to buy packs of dishwashing tablets and laundry capsules and lugging around with luggage, I would rather it be factored into the property fees which it should already be cos this property isn’t cheap at all! How much would another 3 - 5 laundry capsules and 3 dishwashing capsules cost seriously?! I hope the host will take this into consideration to make the stay a perfect one. Thank you!

Guests should be aware that the stairs are steep and the only bathroom is downstairs.

A beautifully renovated cottage right on the foreshore. We loved all the attention to detail especially the thoughtfully-produced book of information and the carefully chosen garden furniture. Our stay was brief but this would be a fantastic location for a family holiday. It is on the outskirts of Broadford which has shops and restaurants, but far enough away to enjoy uninterrupted views.

Narrow staircase, but one needs to remember it's 242 years old house and people didn't have suitcases the size of dressers then.

Phil set us up nicely. Property is very clean. Bedding comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well, and the bottle of wine was a nice greeting. Great view of the water. Property was as advertised.

The ground floor is too cold. We do not expected the narrow stairways, hard to manage big luggages upstairs, might hurt the railings and walls. The toiletries provided is only enough for one person for 1 day - the ones in small packaging that usually supplied at hotel. We are 5 people staying for 2 nights, luckily we brought our own supplies.

The backyard view is amazing. We would like to return just for the view. Full complete kitchen, lots of books, game, wifii, plus Alexa. The decos are unique and meaningful. Tv in every rooms. Nice touch of welcoming basket. The kids love their rooms, there are plenty of games, books and dvds for them.

It was an amazing night in Carnmhor! Beautiful house with everything you need and even more! Full kitchen equipment, kind gift from host, clean and cozy bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms. Stunning views!!!! If you trevel vith children or pets you can find everything in this house you might need. We wish we would stay here longer!!!

Absolutely everything. Lovely welcome gift on arrival. Entry was easy. The cottage is amazing and the views have that wow factor. Beautiful inside and out. There is absolutely everything plus 100% more here in the cottage . You need for nothing. So so much information the owners have gone above and beyond to make your stay amazing.

Be sure to read description. There are STAIRS. So you will need to carry your luggage to the bedrooms. That is the only note I'd make.

This is a wonderful place on the Isle of Skye. The house was easy to find and easy to get into. It was so cute and warm inside. A perfect place for a base to see the rest of the Isle. The grounds were stunning. It sits right on the Broadford Bay. The views were amazing. The hosts left information about everything and anything which was so helpful. The town of Broadford offered restaurants and other sites. Great place.
