The downsides were the net curtains as this didn't give any privacy at all and you had to make sure the blinds were closed on the veranda side. The light in the bathroom didn't work and it took us a while to get the shower to work as we didn't realise the switch for both the shower and the jets was in the cupboard in the kitchen area. It looks like a new shower has been fitted and I personally didn't find any issues with it. The sofa bed could of done with a fitted sheet over the mattress but other than that was comfortable enough.

The chalet was perfectly located on the sea front within easy walking distance of the harbour and the coastal path. On reading previous reviews I was quite worried about the cleanliness of the property but upon entering the chalet it was clean and tidy , yes a bit outdated and could do with updating but overall it was fine. The bed was comfortable and the set of bedding for the sofa bed was clean. I would stay here again.

The property is very basic; very dated and is in much need of some TLC. The shower is dangerous as it ran from scolding hot to freezing cold and we couldn’t regulate the temperature. Looking at the visitor book, this had been reported but not repaired. Apart from the sofabed, the rest of the furniture is very tired and worn. There are no curtains, apart from nets in the bedroom. The vent windows wouldn’t open in the lounge so had to leave the door open to allow air to circulate during the night as the weather was hot.

The position of the property was fantastic; right on the sea front. Having the covered veranda was also great as we could sit there in the evenings. It’s got a quirky layout.

Really needs curtains. Would make such a difference at night. And to the look of place and the coziness. The thermostat in shower is dodgy, as is the lock on the sliding door to main room. Could do with a deep clean eg behind furniture, touch points etc

Loved the chalet being on the sea front, and the 2 verandas. Lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Loved the jet bath with its L.E.D lights. Lots of kitchen stuff ( though no one ever thinks of egg cups, and no exception here!)my daughter said the sofa bed was comfy. I liked all the bits of furniture and the piano ( needs tuning 😂) as it felt homely.

There’s nothing to dislike about this property—it was wonderful! I just wish toiletries had been provided, or at least that we had been informed in advance that they wouldn’t be.

I booked this for my 35th birthday, and we absolutely loved the spacious property and stunning view. The best part was the convenient parking and the relaxing sauna bathtub. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, listening to the soothing sound of the waves. Geoffrey, the host, was incredibly helpful and always responded promptly to our questions

Door lock was really tricky until you got the technique, and some of the double glazing has failed meaning a bit of the super view is obscured.

The decor, the dated heating, the parking space was a narrow garage and the keys were fiddly to lock/unlock the main door..

The bed linen needs updating as it has not changed for a long time. The lock did not work on one of the ouside doors. needs looking at.

The position of the chalet. the sea view is amazing and you are close to everything. Chalet lovely and warm during our stay.

The bed took a night or two to get used too. The TV signal was lost at times, and the screen image pixelated quite a bit. Decor could do with an uplift.

The chalet was quirky in it's layout. Large bedroom and lounge. Studio kitchen. The glass-fronted veranda was a pleasure to use, especially when the wind and showers came along. The sea view was exceptional.

Perfect location, great sea views and walking distance from all the pubs and cafes. Beautiful walks along the coast. Apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. Our car wouldn't fit in the garage but the host kindly arranged alternative parking.
