TV was a bit hit and miss with the signal but not an issue because we only wanted it on for news updates or last thing at night.

Perhaps a smart tv so the guest can login into their own Netflix account etc. the kitchen sink tap needs tightened. These are minor complaints and wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Beautiful setting in a beautiful village. The communication we received from the host was very clear. You have everything you need for your stay in the cottage. On our first night after a long day of travelling we just got a meal deal from Sainsbury’s in Oxford and chilled out in the cottage. It was very relaxing. There is a very good co-op in the village that we used a couple of times. There are some very nice circular walks starting from the village. We completed the 5 mile Charlbury to Finstock and back route. At the half way mark there is a very nice pub in Finstock called the plough. There are frequent trains into Oxford taking about 16mins from Charlbury and running late into the night. We were attending a Billy ocean concert at the new theatre Oxford and caught a train back no problem. Charlbury is a very nice village with pubs, shops, hairdressers etc. I would definitely stay again.

Good, key safe check-in. Helena and Martin were very welcoming but never intrusive. Comfortable cottage with lovely thick towels and plenty to spare. Plentiful toiletries and powerful shower with good hot water supply. Very comfortable bed. Cottage set in beautiful garden with it's own terrace. Red Kites flying overhead every day! Deli just 50yds away for morning baguettes and other food supplies. Co-op 5 minutes walk away. Very expensive pubs in the village.

Not much to do on rainy day. We didn't have a car and public transport very sparse to other villages.

Peace and quiet, tranquil village with 3 pubs - real ale heaven and friendly people in Rose & Crown. Lots of nice places to eat (Chloe's Thurs and Fri only). Cottage very comfy, super bed.

It was a lovely place to stay with everything I could possibly need. Comfortable and clean facilities and a warm and welcoming feel throughout. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Nothing - it’s a perfect get away.

Lovely location, very warm, everything you need including basics for. Cooking which was so nice- and lovely toiletries. All very much appreciated. Brilliant location and great pubs nearby especially The Bell. And Sky Sports was an added bonus for sports fans!

The property was very cosy, clean and we had everything we needed on arrival. It was amazing to have the facilities of a kitchen/oven to make our meals. All instructions were very clear and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would recommend this property to anyone.

Nothing really. (On a minor note, the toilet seat does seem to be lower than average, which is not easy when you’re recently recovering from hip surgery. Having said that I don’t expect every hotel or property to state toilet height!)

Conveniently set down a narrow but very quiet side road, leaving only 5 mins walk from the centre of Charlbury for shops and pubs etc

Great location in the centre of Charlbury but in a very pretty garden well away from the road. In the living space every view was of trees and flowers (but it is June!). Comfortable, colourful and well thought through. All spotless. Great access to walks.
