Room not serviced so bins not emptied and bed not made. Also the tea tray not replenished or dirty mugs replaced. The second morning I went to make a drink and there was only one milk and one t bag so not ideal when 2 people. The evening meals are a complete contrast to the breakfast. Disappointing and overpriced.

Convenient for the park & ride together into Chester. Close to motorway network. Room very comfortable. Good to have air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Nice choice at breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. The leisure facilities were very good and quiet at the time we used them.

Housekeeping needs improvement. There was hair in the both, thepeople that stayed in that room before us had left a nightdress on the back of the bathroom door. Tea, coffee ect hadnt been replenished or clean cups left. One of the beds they had made they had left my daughters pyjamas on the floor

When we arrived our granddaughter had picked the hotel as it had a swimming pool unfortunately children are not allowed in after 6pm although there was no one on the pool very dissatisfied as this didn’t say anywhere and would of booked another hotel

We chose this as it was close to Chester zoo and had a swimming pool lovely breakfast buffet

Beds a little hard, asked for mattress topper and eventually got after 3rd time of asking. Didn't expect to have to put it on ourselves, which involved stripping the bed.

Situated near park and ride to Chester centre. Good swimming pool, friendly staff.

Asked for a quiet room and our neighbours were banging the door every few minutes. Didn't bother to complain as we have always enjoyed our stays here.

The hotel is looking very clean and nice with the dining room being re done.

Little things like the light switch at the side of the bed didn’t work and the toilet cistern dripped constantly throughout the night. I don’t like that there was a service charge on food and drinks. The whole property is very tired looking but would take a lot of money to refresh it. The garden wouldn’t take a lot of money to refresh and would be so welcoming. Removal of the pods outside would be a big improvement as they look awful due to deterioration.

Rooms were basic but clean. The staff were all excellent and helpful. Our dogs came too and were welcomed and it was lovely to have an area where they were able to sit with us when eat our meal. The location is excellent for easy access via Park & Ride into Chester.

Loved this hotel right up to the point we were leaving when we noticed a bag was missing , not a big value bag just cans of coke , cans of beer , bottles of water crisp and pain cream Told reception , didn’t really seem interested , took our number , still waiting for a reply Its not about the value it’s the point someone took our bag from our room you just don’t expect this to happen , we where away for a few days (Anniversary )and to be honest this spoiled it for us

The only thing that spoiled it for us was the cleaner knocked at the door and just let themselves in. Didn’t even wait for us to open the door just let himself in. Luckily I was dressed. My partner had just got out the shower. Felt very intruded. We did report it to the receptionist and she was very apologetic. Just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else

The hotel was lovely staff were friendly room was lovely and clean. Bed was a bit firm for me but that’s just preference. Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than one in the bath. Again that’s just a preference. Breakfast was lovely nice and fresh and plenty to choose from

Bathroom was beyond awful,tiny pokey thing,door couldn’t even open fully as toilet blocked 🚫 doorway. Sink hindered access to bathtub and the toilet blocked the glass shower screen,so it was very hazardous ⚠️ anytime showering,really not any mobility issues or disabilities friendly in anyway. Occupational therapies nightmare. The TV only allows connections to the hotel special wifi app,and for some reason any subscription that isn’t the premium subscription won’t work. Having to be connected to an unsecure network to attempt to watch any streaming services also puts all your personal data at risk of hackers or cyber attacks.

Actually appreciated the pool towards the end. Cleaners were relatively friendly.

Room and corridor we stayed in were uncomfortably hot, even though rest of hotel was at a comfortable temperature. We asked to change room however due to hotel being full, staff were unable to accommodate this, staff offered extra fans, however really poor service on getting these to room as we had to ask 4 times throughout the day before we got them, this resulted in 2 nights of not being able to sleep due to heat.

Minor thing: The corridors were full of dead leaves. We discovered in the morning that all the beddings/towels are put in bins for washing etc that are outside and everything flies back in the corridor ! Maybe someone needs to hoover the corridors once the chamber maids have finished their work

The cleanliness in the room could do with improvement. Overall, it was acceptable, but could have done with some attention to detail. A stain o the carpet a coffee stain on bedside table dust on the phone wire to name a few.

The staff were amazing. Friendly, professional, and engaging. Service was amazing at the bar and in the restaurant. Food was fabulous.
