As our property is over 300 years old, some of the rooms — including bathrooms — are more compact, and we provide photos of all rooms online so guests can view them before booking. We also encourage guests to speak with the manager during their stay, as we may have been able to move you to a different room to better suit your needs. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Hi Civatti, We're happy to hear that you enjoyed our clean and spacious room! Our staff have a fine eye to details in the room, and we will let them know of their excellent work! Unfortunately, during the quiet season, there are times where our managers aren't available for breakfast, however, we do offer breakfast at one of properties in either Stow on the Wold, or Burford. We do understand that travelling to the different properties can be time sensitive, and as we are approaching the busy season, we now have staff on sight for breakfast! We only have heated towels rails in the bathroom, we will look into adding separate heating to the bathrooms, thank you for the suggestion! Kind regards, Chestnuts Bed and Breakfast

Hi Daniela, We're happy to hear you enjoyed the location! It's great for our guests who would like to explore the beautiful village by foot! We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Family Room! Our staff are always sure to keep the rooms spick and span for our guests, and the building is over 300 years old, so maybe you were looking for something more modern. We get many bookings for the Family Room where our guests prefer to have their child sleep in the bed with them, but the check-in staff are always sure to show our guests where the extra linen is for the sofa bed should they wish to use it!
