Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBeautiful setting, gorgeous cottage, spotless facilities and very comfortable room. Lovely short walk to excellent pub serving superb home cooked meals, including breakfast apparently, but we only had dinner ourselves.

United KingdomThere should have been at least some soap/shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom but there were no toiletries at all. We would have liked a breakfast option although it was made clear on booking that it wasn't available.
Amazing location - so quiet with a lovely view of the village church. The property was vey clean and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on the bench outside the front door in the evening.

The room was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we needed. situated in a lovey little village just minutes from Chipping Camden which has many excellent coffee shops and walks. There is also a very good pub down the road from the B&B. The B&B also has an electric car charger which was a bonus for us.

United KingdomThe fridge needed to be larger as the tiny one on the work top could only take a very small container of milk and not even a small bottle of water. Some drawers would be useful for people staying for more than a few nights. It was a pity no breakfast was available at the property but there were details in the room regarding places to eat
The location was very good for visiting the Cotswolds. The facilities in the bathroom were very good and the bed was very comfortable with good pillows. A pleasant, light, quiet and airy room.

United KingdomLovely little house in beautiful countryside. Our host Alex met us at the door and welcomed us in from the pouring rain. She took us up to our room, and brought us some wine glasses and we settled into our cosy room. Lovely comfy bed, milk in the tiny fridge for our cuppa. Excellent shower next to our room (for our use only). I would love to see it again in actual summer weather so we could have enjoyed a walk around the area. Thank you Alex.

United KingdomEverything was good.
The location was great, and my friend lived around the corner. The room was excellent and very clean including a spotless bathroom. The guestroom is located to the left of the stairs. Great espresso coffee machine in the bedroom and very peaceful and quite. Great to rejuvenate your mind after a long week. Great countryside and beautiful cottages clustered together and spaced out. From one cottage to the next, the Cotswolds has everything to offer. Parking is available just behind the gate in between the porch and the gate. Bedroom has a fridge and Amazon Prime Movies for you to Watch also. Bed was very comfy and shower was nice and large and warm water always running. Will Visit again this time maybe for Architecture Work in the Cotswalds. Keys are in the keysafe, the long key is for the porch inner door, the small key is for your bedroom, and the key with the red plastic cover is for the Yale lock, (have to lift the latch and pull the door when you leave the property), digital Key safe and the Owner also kept us informed of all the facilities on offer. Easy to check in and Check out. Take advantage of nature at its best, make the most of it! (Recommend hiking boots for long walks). Firework Show was the Best! and donated to Charity!

United KingdomIf travelling by bus you need to plan your day trips carefully. After the 08.00 to Newport there isn't another bus until 10.00, similarly on return in the late afternoon - no bus back after 16.00ish. Pity room service was missed one day.
Lovely quiet location. Peta is an excellent host. Good vegetarian breakfasts, well presented. Big rooms. Red squirrels. Direct bus service on Island Coaster Niton to/from Yarmouth (for Lymington ferry) saves time by avoiding Newport.

United StatesIf possible, a shelf in the shower would be a help, to put our shower necessities on.
Everything was spotless! The owner was very welcoming, and had given us very clear information about their location, which is located in a tiny hamlet several miles from Broadway. The picture window was large and gave us a great view outdoors. And the rental was totally quiet all night! The bed was wonderful, also.

United KingdomThe room could benefit from redecoration.
Church View was in a lovely, quiet location within walking distance from the village and the local hotel where we had a meal. The room was comfortable and great value for money and perfectly adequate for a short stay. We had a separate , private bathroom next to the bedroom with a good shower. We took our own bowls, plates and cutlery and made our own breakfast using the milk that was left in the fridge and there was a plentiful supply of teas and coffees. The Cotswolds is generally quite expensive for hotels and I thought that Church View was a great place for an affordable 2 days away.

United KingdomNothing really. This is not really a complaint just an observation. At the time we booked it did state that it was a "B&B" however they don't do breakfast and there is not much round there. I think the description title has changed now. We took porridge pots and made those. So it was ok but go prepared!
The room was clean and comfy. Private shower room was very clean. Parking on site. There is a kettle and fridge and supplies of tea, coffee and fresh milk. It was close to towns in the Cotswolds and close to the venue we were attending a wedding at so perfect location.

United KingdomI had a bad sat-nav day, the postcode area is large, so a little more detailed direction would have been useful, but it was no big deal, I'm a bloke....so I got there after a couple of drive-by's!
The location was stunning, sitting outside in the evening sunshine, looking over the meadow to the church was quintessentially English.
