There was nothing not to like. A couple of small, easily rectifiable, points were that the heated towel rail could not be used and that the TV refused to work! These are small things, but as a cyclist travelling alone, I would have welcomed both!!

I had not noticed that in spite of searching Booking.com for B&B, there was no breakfast offered. That is actually a problem with booking.com and my lack of attention. Next time I will skip the middle man and phone.

I arrived by bike and there was somewhare sensible to leave it over night.

The room was lovely, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. Sadie had provided fresh milk for the tea and had also turned the heater on prior to my arrival - thoughtful touches that make a difference.

The communal kitchen was a bit curious, the food offered (this is not a B&B) a bit random.

The room was really warm and cosy, and with the ensuite it was just the right size for two nights. No TV in the room which suited me.

The only niggle I have is minor. The pub up the road was a bit noisy but the whole place was quiet by about 10pm.

It says B&B on your website so I was expecting breakfast to be included. However, it was not included so I was directed by the owner to a cafe across the road for breakfast the next morning. A small supply of teabags and a kettle were provided in the room but I had to buy milk from a nearby supermarket in order to have a cup of tea.

The room was pleasant and the double bed very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom with shower was well equipped and clean.

The room was cold, especially at night. The only heating the towel rail in the bathroom. Appreciate I could have asked for a heater but it was dark and raining and hadn't realised how cold it would be by morning, glad I'd packed hot water bottle. Could do with a small rug by the bed as feet were freezing, also a rail in the bath as getting out of the shower in enclosed space awkward. Please take as constructive feedback rather than critical. Also nowhere to hang anything, no hangers or hooks. Maybe leave blanket in the cupboard. Couldn't get (new) TV to work.

I stayed for one night in the garden room which was well appointed, very clean and obviously quite new with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water and good shower/bath. I left early before breakfast which was served in another part of the building - didn't figure out where that was and inadvertently knocked on the room of another guest.

Very late check in but the host was flexible for my stay

Lovely spacious and very clean the host was very friendly.A new installed shower room was super. Plenty of free parking was available just over the road. Nice town with a great pub minutes away. Breakfast was served and the host was very flexible with my time schedule.
