The location of the property is its strongest point, as we were in Bristol for Love Saves The Day festival. A 15-20 min walk to somewhere that’s far the city centre saved a lot of hassle for us. Incredible value for money especially if travelling with a group

Raj was very friendly, and although the place is basic, it’s really cheap and right next to the start of the CAZ. So you can park free then walk 30 minutes into central Bristol. Ideal basic board. Thanks

The room was great. We were a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 young children. There was 1 bunk bed, 1 double bed and a sofa bed in the room, which still left plenty of space to move around and was ideal for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and we requested more pillows, which the staff happily provided

The room was very dated and rather unkept (damage to lamp, damage to desk, overloaded plug sockets, smell of cigarettes). The ceiling was also very pitched, and I hit my head more than once (I'm only 5ft4!).

The fact that the electric kept going And the staff was not very talkative when it come to that no apology Trying to entertain the four-year-old with no electric was very difficult And we didn’t see or hear from the staff when the electric was gone

The smell of the first room: too much deodorant to cover the smell of smoke. Gave me a headache. Then we moved to a better room, but it was noisy.

The property was close to a main road which disturbed us during the night, also the bed wasn’t comfortable.

Property was clean with a warm welcome from host who stayed up later for us than planned. We were very grateful for this. House was a characterful, old building and the room was a good size with tea, coffee and basin to wash in.

Rooms looked tired and could do with some refurbishment and updating. Lack of water pressure in sinks in bathroom and room. Breakfast would have been a welcome addition, even a "help yourself" continental breakfast. Insurances displayed in the main entrance were out of date and need updating.

The host was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in rooms. Fridge in room was handy. Good location for Ashton Gate Stadium and shops and breakfast are only a short walk away. Fan in room for warmer weather and heater in room for colder weather.

Room smelt of smoke so could have done with some airing out. Or just a new carpet and would freshen the room up. Definitely not value for money but did what it needed to and gave me a place to crash for the night.
