Pat gave us the very warmest of welcomes to her home with a quick tour followed by a glass of Prosecco and lovely conversation . She could not have done more to make our stay so comfortable . The attention to detail is second to none - we wanted for absolutely nothing - a comfortable , spacious and extremely clean room with lovely bedding and high quality fittings in the bathroom - and an array of complementary touches at every turn . We were particularly happy with the toothbrush charging point in the bathroom which we have not seen before in our many stays in boutique hotels! The breakfast was on another level - freshly cooked to order and filled with high quality ingredients and perfectly presented in a light and bright breakfast room looking over the beautifully kept garden ! This is no ordinary B&B - we could not recommend it highly enough . There is off road parking in the driveway which is a great bonus in Cheltenham and the property (which is architecturally beautiful ) is close enough to the centre of town to walk . We cannot imagine anyone not loving a stay here ! Thank you Pat !

The room was perfect, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and stocked with lovely high end products. Pat had also left complimentary drinks, biscuits and chocolate bar, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Pat was a helpful and friendly host. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The property was in a quiet neighbourhood just a 15 min walk into the town centre, with parking. I would 100% recommend this property. Thank you Pat for a lovely stay.

We only stayed for 1 night.. We should have stayed longer.

Lovely property... in a great location with everything you need for a comfortable stay.. Pat has thought of everything... The breakfast was amazing.. Pat asked us what we would like to have the evening before and went over and above what we were expecting.. We would return just to see Pat. Before we left we were already arranging to return next year.

Our stay here was exceptional, Pat the host was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The little touches in the room such as fresh milk and little cakes were really nice. The bed and pillow were comfortable and the bathroom, especially the bath tub was amazing! Breakfast in the morning was a feast! Looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you Pat!

Nothing, it was all great!

Superb stay! I echo all other reviews which explain how attentive the host is. The room was beautiful, well considered, clean and great amenities - even multiple pillow options from soft to hard and lovely treats. We had a wonderful and plentiful breakfast which was cooked for us at our prearranged time. The hosts son even helped us in the morning and dropped us off to collect my car from the day before.

The host was incredible. No other words to describe it. From the warm welcome, to the friendly chatter in the morning, she really made our visit most memorable. The place is very clean and beautifully designed. The breakfast was excellent. A place I would recommend to friends.

Having to leave.

This place is a little gem. The accommodation is first class, with every amenity you would ever need. Spotlessly clean and modern. The host, Pat, is the most amazing person who goes out of her way to ensure you have a wonderful time, as we did. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Superb in every respect. Would certainly return.

We enjoyed a very relaxing overnight stay and received excellent hospitality and a lovely welcome from Pat. It's a great property fairly close to the centre of Cheltenham and there is a very thoughtful level of attention to details in your room (for example, bottled water, a few snacks, nice toiletries, lovely shower, comfy bed, extremely clean) that bring an extra degree of comfort and quality compared to many places. Parking is available onsite and we had an excellent breakfast including cooked. We can highly recommend.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Lovely welcome and everything was perfect. We had a lovely room with a very very comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served at a time to suit us and it was excellent, whatever we wanted Patricia would oblige. We use a lot of B and Bs and this is certainly the best we have stayed in by far. It was the little things that made it stand out from others, the offer of a drink when we arrived, the relaxed atmosphere, the personal touch, the little surprises that appeared daily in our room from fresh fruit to bars of chocolate to biscuits and even a rose. Our cases were carried up to our room and even that’s it’s only about 8 minutes walk into Cheltenham we were told that someone would drive us in if we wished. The morning that we left our cases were carried out to our car. Fantastic service

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Pat greeted us on arrival and her hospitality started as soon as we arrived. Pat refused to let us carry our bags. We arrived at 9pm. She offered us a drink and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and classy. Everything was impeccable and Pristine. Bathroom was very updated, clean, well equipped and brand new. Bed was sooo comfortable. Breakfast was so elaborate and she wants to feed you more. There was a lot of food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You must stay here to experience the hospitality and the beautiful property. We have made a friend for life. We will always come back to stay here while visiting the area.

Not a dislike but be aware there are many stairs and steps if you stay in the upper room.

Everything! Do yourself a favor and stay here. The location, the room, the bed, the bath, the breakfast, all of it, the College View is the reason why you stay at a b&b rather than an Airbnb or a hotel. It is really all made possible by the kindest of people, Pat, who is the host, the staff, the chef and someone who with much consideration and kindness goes above and beyond in every way.

I don't think there is much that could be improved. Everything we needed was there and was superb. The only thing I'd have like would have been a few extra nights!

Our stay was brilliant from the start. Ahead of the stay I'd had communication from the property and notification to inform me that the room was ready for arrival - very useful so we could optimise our timing in town. Location is excellent - only 10 minute stroll to the town area and despite this very quiet and peaceful. Room was excellent - a truly exception bath - the bathroom had virtually everything we'd brought from home - plus the lashings of hot water. Breakfast was a marvel - our order was taken the day before and specially prepared at our preferred time - truly amazing just to look at let alone taste. Just a great all round experience.

The property is beauiful, immaculate and has a welcoming feeling about it, the room we had was really nice, the bed was so comfortable, this place ticks every box, the breakfast is also amazing. We will definitely stay here again and soon.

This was the loveliest place we have stayed in a long time. We loved it. Pat was a fantastic host from the moment she greeted us. She couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home and with ideas to help us get the most out of our stay. Pat was so kind and thoughtful, and made our wedding anniversary so special. The room was luxurious; comfy soft bed, fab shower, and every thing you could wish for was provided. All the complimentary touches were very much appreciated. Being able to say what time we wanted breakfast and what we wanted was amazing and the food was wonderful. Couldn’t rate this any higher and will look forward to coming back one day.
