Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Comfy is a bit of a stretch, more very basic but perfectly located for the 02 Forum in Kentish Town which is a 10 minute walk. The property is dated and tired but clean and secure. Beds are very basic (check that all the slats are in place) and could do with a couple of extra pillows. Property also seems to have a tube line running underneath/nearby and be prepared to be woken up when the sun rises as the single curtain in no way keeps out the light. In summary for a one night stay over for a gig at the 02 Forum it’s adequate, no major complaints.

Nowhere to drop luggage off and pick up later. Felt like you are being spied on with the cameras in the hallway watching your every move A little noisy at times. Bath dangerous as no matter to stop slipping. No rails to hold onto

Make sure you have your code for the room if you go to the loo or the kitchen because you can lock yourself out.
Great location in the middle between Camden Town and Kentish Town in gated estate building. The room was simple but really comfy bed, the kitchen had all you need for short stays.

Toilet had a bad smell. Off putting. Didn’t have shower due to this. Otherwise was the ideal property. Thank you.

The outside lights were quite bright
It was exceptionally convenient for O2 forum. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc. Bathroom was clean

The building was a bit worn down, with very dodgy people having beers in the main courtyard. The flat was not as nice as I would have like to.

no blackout in room - poorly fitted blinds meant lots of light leakage from outside. Very easy to lock yourself out the room as you need a code to open it

It is a flat with 3 double rooms and a triple room. A shared kitchen and shared bathroom. I wouldn't stay again due to the shared bathroom. I didn't feel comfortable and it didn't seem that clean. You do not meet any staff. Access is via 2 gates that are opened electronically. Then furthermore 2 codes are needed to access the flat and then your room. You need to bring your phone to the bathroom or you could lock yourself out.
The location is good. The area felt safe. It is maybe a little over ten minutes walk to the tube. The room had a double bed that was fine but not a lot of space otherwise. The shared kitchen looked decent but I didn't use it.

The curtains didn't fully cover the windows and the blinds were broken. The windows were also very difficult to open. As a result we had a pretty bad sleep
Good location, near the tube and the O2 Kentish Forum where we were attending a concert. Reasonable price compared to other places in the area

Only downside was the long code into the bedroom on a small keypad - it's secure definitely but just difficult after a few drinks and tired and don't forget your phone if you need the toilet

Clean and very well located. The entry system is a bit odd but the staff are available 24/7 so I had no issues and was always able to enter the property rapidly. Exceptional value for money

Bed was very uncomfortable/broken with the slats coming out, we couldn't open the window in the room and honestly it could have been cleaner

The blind on one window was a little tangled, so light did leak through, but a quick adjustment of the curtains stopped this so it wasn’t the worst!
Really good location, hosts were easy to contact, the place was clean and comfortable.
