There was a slight smoky odour but nothing that a scented candle wouldn’t resolve. The sofa cushions could do with refilling & maybe a mattress upgrade on the beds. Lacking a bit of kerb appeal but didn’t affect our enjoyment once indoors.

The location was very central which we loved. Nice & peaceful, no noisy neighbours. Great to have a main bathroom & en-suite. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Cute courtyard. Wi-if good. Handy car park nearby, rates reasonable.

The sofa's could do with the cushions being refilled. But that's very minor. Also we thought it was a double room, and a twin room as in the photos. We hadn't realised that the twin bed was underneath the other single and needed lifting out and making up. We should have checked this when we booked. Although we did say that 3 people were staying there.

The house was lovely, Clean convenient, One thing to be aware is there is no parking on the road. This is explained in the information, and there is a carpark close by that was fine.

It was one of the most comfortable stays I have ever experienced. All the necessary items for a very pleasant , cozy and enjoyable accommodation where thoughtfully prepared, from the coffee to the salt, from the shampoos, to the towels, from the first aid kit to the covers by the sofas ! THANK YOU Henry for letting us staying a bit pass the departure time :)

The Cottage was very clean and Henry left some goodies for our arrival which was a great touch.We had a very enjoyable couple of days in Stamford and some lovely meals..The weather was beautiful so that was a great to be able to get around in the sunshine..

The house is very well located for the town. Super quiet and very clean. Henry was great at communicating and left us a welcome pack of breakfast goodies which was very kind. Would absolutely recommend this place when visiting Stamford.

We made our own breakfast, always the best. But milk was provided. Thank you. Excellent location to enjoy the town and take a short taxi trip to the stately home nearby.

Beautiful cottage, lots of period features and beautifully decorated. Fantastic location. Received the best welcome hamper I’ve ever experienced not only with all the breakfast items you need, but treats including Prosecco. The cottage also has everything you could possibly need during your stay. Convenient Parking at Saint Leonard’s car park which is only a two minute walk away. We will definitely be returning.

The fact that you couldn’t park outside the property and had to use a car park close by or restricted parking on the main street.

There was a welcome pack of crumpets, jam, butter, milk, orange juice and Prosecco as well as an informative brochure detailing the property and area.

The property was very central and the ambience in the cottage was warm and cosy - the kitchen was very well appointed.

Remarkably central location. In town within 2minutes walk. Outstandingly detailed attention to customer provision - milk crumpets. butter, orange juice. The house is tastefully modern and well laid out. Parking for the whole day less than £6 minutes away. A great place to stay. Very comfy and cosy.

Everything! Henry's communication was excellent and the property didn't disappoint. Lovely touches like the milk in the fridge, the printed welcome note along with the wi-fi code. Super-comfy bed & immaculately clean. Near the town centre, yet very quiet - perfect.
