It's a bit awkward being in somebody else house even though he was very welcoming and pleasant.

Great location, a few terrace streets away from the station and the town centre so it was very quiet. The property was very clean and well presented.

I lived the fact that Richard the owner really made me feel very welcome in his home and I sat downstairs and had a chat in the evening with him. Very very relaxed and a lovely home. Would highly recommend and would stay again without any shadow of a doubt 😀

Lovely room with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Lots of little extras such as toiletries and a tray in the bedroom drawer with items you may have forgotten. All very clean and well-presented in a really nice house. The host Richard is extremely friendly and welcoming and puts guests at ease.

Honestly, there's nothing that that could have been better, and I am just being honest. This was the best homestay experience that I've had, and I intend to go back again in Summer.

I travelled with my teenage son for his year 10 work placement. Richard not only made us feel at home, but went out of his way to make sure that we had the best experience. We stayed there for a week, and came back with an experience that we will cherish for a lifetime. First of all, Richard's house is extremely beautiful, clean and tidy. Be it the interior design, or his level of attention to detail, it instantly lifts up your mood and transports you into a different world. Richard is extremely friendly but also thoroughly professional when it comes to the service that he provides. During our stay, we cooked our own food (Richard's kitchen is Alice's Wonderland). You will have the best culinary experience in Richard's kitchen Thirdly, Richard's sense of aesthetics is impeccable, but hes not the tortured genius artsy type who keeps to himself. He's very resourceful and an out of the box thinker when it comes to problem solving. I had to attend a program and needed a few safety pins. Guess what, magic man Richard had safety pins too. Last but not the least, you will have a great time with Richard's cats, Timmy and Marmalade. But let me warn you, Timmy is very territorial, extremely protective of his daddy. Marmalade on the other is the kindest cat ever. My son really enjoyed the cats. Richard's place is only 10 mins walk from Altrincham tram station. Commuting to Manchester City centre is very easy. Richard also guided me to visit nearby attractions like Dunham Massey Dear Park.

It’s well finished and they really made me feel at home. I had a really bad journey getting there (no fault of theirs) arrived nearly 2 hours later than planned and was greeted warmly, by name and then given a ‘proper coffee’ a tour. The place was warm, clean and very well presented. I also needed a late checkout and was accommodated with no fuss and no cost
