Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis has all the making of a very nice hotel but just seemed to lack that finishing touch. Areas untidy.
Proximity to where I needed to be, pleasant rooms albeit the proximity of the toilet to the basin unit made it a little tight for a big guy.

United StatesI didn’t like the fact that there were no elevators, the room furniture needs to be updated. They charged my taxi for parking when he was only waiting for us to come from our rooms while having to lug our luggages down the stairs.
The restaurant on the property is a 10/10 experience the food was amazing. The service could have been better.

United KingdomOur rooms weren't ready we had paid extra for twin rooms neither room was ready I rang on the Wednesday before our arrival on the Friday regarding accessibility requested a assessable room they couldn't provide us with a twin requested a ground floor room as the lift wasn't working one of our party has a physical disability and can't do stairs. But tried to give us a upstairs room up 3 flights of stairs. After a bit of a two and throw conversation we eventually got the downstairs room but it wasn't accessible had a shower over the bath. It was noisy with banging doors and dogs barking. Dirty and dated.
It was a ok location for what we needed But nothing around so quite isolated

IrelandThe bedroom was clean and comfortable with everything you could want ..the decor could do with freshening up as the paint work looked old and was chipping away but that was the only fault ..
I had a very enjoyable stay at Tong Park Hotel ..the staff were very helpful friendly and accommodating There was a lady serving breakfast one morning and she was absolutely super. She was so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for her she really was brilliant. The breakfast was absolutely delicious every day of our stay as was the dinner in the restaurant compliments to the chef ..I will definitely return.

United KingdomCalling it a ‘gym’ is stretching things. There’s a runner, the odd weight and a bike tucked in the corner. The room was a little dated

United KingdomStaff were not very welcoming on check-in or check out. Breakfast was a chaotic set up, there were only 2 other people when we went down, and if it was chaos, then I can only imagine what it's like when busy! A bar of soap from the previous person who stayed in our room was in the shower. Loads of things in the room and bathroom were broken, drawer handles. The lift was out of order, but on check-in this wasn't shared, just 'go round the corner and the stairs are there).
Beautiful building and views. Good room size. Nice bathroom.

United KingdomWe paid extra the following morning for breakfast and it was very poor! Never enough food brought out so we ended up with a couple of bits of toast & very weak coffee. £10 each we paid but unfortunately only 2 out of 4 of us managed to get a few bits of hot buffet.
The property is great, rooms were very spacious & modern and the hotel seemed very clean and looked after.

United KingdomNothing, it was a great stay
I have stayed at this hotel a few times whilst working in the area. On my last stay the room did not meet my expectation and I gave feedback around this. Only 2 weeks later, I returned and the staff had listened as the room I stayed in 104 was lovely. It was immaculately clean, had been modernised throughout and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were amazing, as always, so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious also. It was so nice to return and know that staff had listened to the previous feedback around the room and immediately rectified it. I will be returning again following this visit.
