Very comfortable, friendly staff, gorgeous grounds, ideal for if bringing a dog on holiday (with easy access bins and only a few areas being dog free), only short walk from the town.

All very good, except the riverside lodge we wanted as unavailable through booking error. Upgraded room lovely, but second floor and no riverside view when sitting on balcony. not the holiday we expected and booked.

FOOD - excellent. Had dinner each evening although had not intended to. So good!

Very pretty setting and friendly staff. Felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was lovely with its own balcony. Bed was very comfortable and absolutely massive.

We stayed in two of the riverside cottages. They were well equipped and immaculately presented. They were perfect for us and our dogs and we loved having the garden and field to exercise them in.

If I wanted to be a carping critic I could say that given how good the food was overall, the breakfast could have been better.

I cannot critise this hotel at all but if you would like me to nit-pick, id say; room service to the cabins would be a nice option, just a simple menu like a pizza or burger or breakfast roll (to-go-style). Only because I climbed Snowdon as was unable to move that evening and the next morning.

This hotel goes above and beyond excellence in all areas, staff, food, location 5*. Probably the cleanest hotel/restaurant I've ever seen in my life! Not a spec of dirt to be found. Beautiful people, beautiful location, you've exceeded expectations and set a very high standard for competitors, well done all.

Pillows were abit lumpy husband felt mattress tipped abit I was OK with mattress

The breakfast was lovely we all had different son had full English breakfast he loved it husband had eggs benedict best he has ever had I had the croissant really nice. Hotel is by the river I walked down a few other people down there it was nice and peaceful

There was a film crew staying at the same time, who left the hotel between 3-4 each morning and would slam their doors at all hours. Not the fault of the hotel though, just thoughtless guests.

Absolutely stunning location in Betws-Y-Coed! The staff are fabulous and very accommodating and the hotel itself is pretty as a picture.

It was very well equipped. I would only suggest a toaster is added to the inventory for more flexibility.

The bed was overly too soft and there was not much support. Highly recommend to change the mattress to allow travellers to sleep more comfortably. Overall it’s a fantastic location and great hotel to stay in.

The room we had was located outside the hotel which meant we had to use coats and umbrellas to get to reception and the breakfast room etc., Not a problem if weather was good but on one of our day’s spent there it was raining.

Charming hotel in beautiful grounds. The room was very spacious and comfortable and a nice en suite with a separate bath and shower. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Would have liked a lunch time menu, they did do an afternoon tea and savoury platter, but no snack available.

Beautiful location, friendly, helpful staff, large bedroom and en suite. Everywhere was spotless and a large paddock to walk the dog albeit we had to keep him on a lead as there were sheep grazing when we stayed. The breakfast were tasty with local sourced products, and the evening meals fabulous but a little pricy.

Our only complaint was the bed. For us it was uncomfortable. It was a kingsize, but it was two beds put together with a noticeable hole between them.

The location was amazing, walking the fields along the river is beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for better service. We got food at the restaurant, that was brilliant, welsh salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was very nice, not greasy.
