The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't master the microwave/grill!

The cottage was welcoming and homely with all that was needed and more for the stay. There is a seaside, nautical theme throughout and the bedrooms particularly comfortable. The rear patio is ideal for sitting in the evening. The beach is only a short walk away and the location perfect My grandson learned to play chess on the board supplied.

The house was exactly as described. Plenty of room for a family of 6 (we were 4 adults 2 children). The location is great, central Cullen within walking distance of shops and the beach. Lovely coastal walks from the house. Bedrooms very comfortable and all equipment you need in the kitchen.

Great village for a family holiday. The sauna on the beach is fab. The cottage is well equipped.

Unfortunately there is no view of the sea or a nice garden and the cottage faces quite a busy road. Parking is not possible close to the door, which wasn't an issue for us but would be if you were carrying small kids or not quite so mobile.

The cottage is a short walk from a very nice hotel with a bar and restaurant and friendly local staff, The Royal Oak. The beach is close by, making it easy to walk back from a swim or take an evening walk on the sand. Cullen is very cute. It is quite a steep village, so good exercise. The coastal walks are easy from the door. We got bad weather but the house had enough space for us to cook, eat and hang out in various rooms.

We would have preferred there to have been a second toilet but we knew on booking there was only one so can not really complain!

This house was spotlessly clean on arrival and in an excellent location

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Cullen. This is a gorgeous seaside town, and an excellent base to exlore the surrounding area. The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained. The beds were all super comfortable. We contacted the owners with a query,, they were quick and friendly in their reply.

Slightly dissapointed that there was neither a radio nor TV in the dining kitchen it's nice to keep up to date with events-- well, we think so. There was just us two and we could rattle around but a group of 6 or 8 would find the table a little too small and there is just the one shower room with the only toilet so a party of 8 (there is room for eight guests to sleep) would need to operate an organised rota with emergency slots!!

It is a self-catering property extremely well appointed both in the kitchen and living rooms/bedrooms. Cullen is a lovely smalltown/large village with most shops and eating places within a 10 minute walk up the hill and, by definition, a 7 minute walk back down. There are a couple of options that are worth noting -"the Royal Oak" pub is a 4 minute walk away and the Cullen Golf Club, which warmly welcomes non-members to the 19th hole. It is worth noting that a member of the bar staff (Sandra) lives next door at number 8 -lovely lady. Golf Club is about a 7 minute walk away on level ground.

Owner's attitude when i called to report that the shower was broken! Lack of wardrobes No shoe storage in entrance Drying green poor Dirty windows inside, dirt in the kitchen on top of the oven, cutlery drawer dirty Towels smelled and had to be washed before use. Towels small and worn. Good luck if 8 guests stay as only one bathroom

No toilet downstairs, so used the upstairs bedroom rather than the downstairs one, we had planned to. Our fault for not reading details better.

Location ideal for able bodied people. Needed to be able to manage the steps down from the road, or walk on level from the Royal Oak up to the cottage. We were able to easily access the Coast. Good food at local pub.
