It was quite a long walk to my room and the staircases were surprisingly steep, in places. However it was good training for walking on Ilkley Moors.

I was allowed to park my motorcycle in front of the hotel as the main car park was made of large stones which were very difficult for me to ride on. The hotel looked like it had some history and I enjoyed its ambience.

We requested single beds but it was just two singles pushed together so effectively a double.

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from the town centre. The staff were helpful when I needed to call a breakdown service and have my car towed! The room was generally quiet except for a few creaky floorboards.

Visiting family so location perfect. Staff are lovely. I have stAyed here a few times and it just gets better. And it’s the cheapest hotel in the area. This visit, it looks like there has been some refurbishment so much improved so even better value for money.

The floorboards on the top floor were very noisy & creaky, you could hear everyone passing by your room at night, especially those young adults who got a bit excited..

The hotel looked like a 5-star resort. The staff were nice & polite and always available for any questions. The rooms were well presented and cosy, and that shower was to die for 😁

The room had lovely views but was quite noisey from neighbours & people walking past the room either very late or early morning. A separate shower cubicle would have been preferred.

We like the location, can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there.

A little tired in areas & shame hotel wasn’t busier as staff were lovely.

Very clean room. Comfy bed. Kettle Tea & coffee in room. Lovely staff on check in who upgraded us to twin rooms on arrival. Rooms were ready before check in which was a bonus. Plenty of parking. We were room only so can’t comment on breakfast.

The front desk seemed a bit understaffed in the evening. There wasn't always someone there, including when I arrived at 6.30, and when I came back from eating out at 21.30.

The room was fine, and the bed comfortable. The position is great, on the edge of the moors, yet only a short walk into the town centre.

Room decor/ colour schemes a little dated. Hot component of buffet breakfast quite basic and bacon and sausages overcooked. Tea and coffee sachets & milk were not topped up in room. Had to request at Reception. Inundated with rather confusing emails post booking.
