A beautiful and quiet location with easy access to a stunning white sandy beach across the flower filled machair. The provision of bread, milk, eggs, butter and jam, shortbread and chocolate was very welcome in our self catering pod.

It was a little cramped for two people with bags. No clothes hanging or WiFi

The pod was lovely and quiet. The unit is very well appointed and well equipped. The bed is small but very comfortable. We also appreciated the welcome pack of food, bread, milk and eggs - a very nice touch..

Excellent stay, pod was very well fitted with comfortable bed and great facilities. Lovely little extras from our host, fresh eggs were a bonus. Loved the peaceful setting and only minutes from an amazing secluded beach. Perfect location for exploring South Uist, Kildonan museum is a must for local history. Would definitely recommend.

It was a new experience and very enjoyable. It was cosy, warm ,well designed and thoughtfully equipped. The welcome basket was excellent and the hosts very welcoming and helpful. The local beach was amazing and only a short walk away and always deserted!

Bit of a challenge to find but once I got back online I noticed they had added some identifying details the day before I was scheduled to arrive which would have helped.

Spotless and cozy…hosts supplied eggs and bread, not expected and a special treat to add to my dinner…very kind!

The pod was in a lovely peaceful location, with a relatively short walk to a beach. We stayed in each of the pods at this location and they were both immaculate. The host was very friendly and had unexpectedly left us with some very welcome supplies - bread, milk, butter, jam, coffee and tea.

We stayed here one night as a break from walking the Hebridean Way. It was an oasis of rest here. The pod was well equipped and we liked the welcome basket we received upon arrival. It was an easy walk down to the beach where we stayed for a while.

There was nothing we didn’t like. One small thing but really not consequential was the lack of a small Coffee press. They provided coffee bags so no big deal - but for the coffee snobs/addicts like us it wasn’t possible to make our own. But again this really is not a big deal

The pod was bigger then we anticipated end everything up as designed and arranged so perfectly, right down to the folding table and chairs tucked under it. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to self cater. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and Amanda and her family were super helpful when our car got stuck - everyone came out to help us push it. It was a super quiet location, perfect for a good sleep.

Location was good if you are driving or cycling but abit in the middle of nowhere for walkers walking from local shop (Daliburgh coop) however we found out you can get the bus to the end of the road so actually not too bad. Bed was abit small but not unexpected due to size of the pod. Shower was easyish to use once you get the hang of it.

After walking for a while with our rucksacks this pod was a big big relief to arrive at where there was biscuits, a loaf of bread and milk and butter in the fridge left for us. Lots of hot drinks options aswell (hot chocolate, black and green teas, coffee). There was a sofa and tv. Very clean with towels and toiletries provided. in the middle of nowhere and near the sea which is what we wanted. Very cosy. Nice outdoor eating area. Washing line. Host checked on us after we arrived. The local dogs are friendly and lots of sheep and cows! We loved it here! And such a good price!

Ideally placed for Hebridean way. The beach is a 10 min walk over the machair... Well worth a wander down at sunset. It's tranquility and views over Barra are unmatched. The pod was incredibly comfy and well equipped. Super value for money. Being brought scones by the host was a lovely surprise! Hope to be back.
