Lovely quaint cottage, had all we needed. Host was lovely my 4 year old son loved helping to feed the animals. Very peaceful location. Coast 20 mins away.

Wonderful and relaxing.. we had the cottage at the end so we could bbq. The little ones enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm. It's excellent just to switch off and relax..

The next doors chickens were loud in the morning, although it didn't bother us that much.

The location was great. Base to explore the local area. Had some brilliant days in the towns around the place. The cottage was cosy, warm, and welcoming, as were the hosts. Sophie was very knowledgeable of the local area and what was on.

Perfect for us

We had a wonderful welcome from Sophie. The little home comforts where appreciated. Such a lot of little extras such as flowers, chocolates, washing up liquid, cloths, extra towels. an iron and ironing board. Fresh ground coffee as well as tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar. salt, sauces, jam & marmite etc. Comfortable beds, Lovely hot water in the bathroom. Plenty of games to play, DVD's to watch and books to read, suitable for all ages. A large book with all sorts of options for things to do in the area. My Grandson really enjoyed helping Sophie to feed the pigs in a morning. On nice mornings we sat outside for breakfast. If you want a break away from it all, this is the place to be, as there is very little internet/ phone reception.

Lots of places we visited were a good drive away, even for a corner shop.

The owners were extremely helpful and offered lots of recommendations for places to visit during our stay. The piggies on site were part of our little morning stroll. Lots of places nearby were dog friendly too. We also had great food in and around the towns we visited. It was a true countryside trip surrounded by sheep, horses and cows!

There is no phone signal in the area and the WiFi wasn't strong enough to watch things on it, so make sure you download whatever you want to watch before your stay!

We loved the cottage! It was homely, warm, clean and comfortable. We instantly felt at home. We also really enjoyed the little touches: fresh flowers, condiments and butter which we did use. The hosts were lovely and the garden beautiful. Loved all the animals nearby too!

The property had everything we needed and more. It was clean and well maintained. Our Grandson loved feeding Dave the chicken. We would definitely stay there again.

Hot water took a long time to come on. Electric fire was very noisy.

We couldn't find a hair dryer..but that was a minor point..we let our hair dry naturally

The location was amazing, quiet and peaceful countryside with easy access to the stunning coast. The hosts were brilliant so welcoming when we arrived, gave us loads of local information of places to visit with our dog. Their dogs were super cute too..The cottage was perfect for me , my daughter and our dog ..making a perfect week away!

The cottage was situated in a beautiful position which was also very convenient for the sea and other interesting places to visit. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful in very way.

no shops nearby, about 20 mins drive away, so take food with you Wi-Fi hit and miss TV a bit small
