Flag flying over Hotel was in a bad state - poor for Photographs. Changing Room in Spa - fire door wedged open - potential Security risk. No butter at Breakfast had to ask. Portions really small.

The location, friendliness of staff, SPA facilities. bed room had good space, bed was comfortable.

Exceptional, friendly customer service from the moment we arrived. Nothing was an effort. The 2 ladies on reception were extremely friendly, and nothing was a problem to them. It's amazing how far a smile can go. Simple, but we are losing that elsewhere. Facilties were first class and everywhere was immaculate. It was a nice bonus that our stay coincided with the art exhibition on the grounds. Definitely returning.

The hotel is surprisingly right beside a dual carriageway with very fast moving traffic. But once you get into the estate, it's like a separate world. Just be careful on the approach to the gate and when leaving. The traffic really flies.

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds, helped by a spectacular art display currently surrounding the estate.

Not a thing! It was perfect.

Our experience at the Culloden was superb. The estate and grounds are gorgeous. The staff treated us like royalty. The restaurants were fantastic. Our room was amazing. I’d stay here again and again. Convenient to Belfast with a beautiful view of Belfast Lough. It lives up to its 5 start luxury hotel status.

There were just a couple of things making this stay an 8/10 for us. Our bathroom was somewhat dirty when we arrived. We didn’t notify staff as we didn’t notice until the second day of our stay - the bathtub and shower were not super clean and I had to do a little bit of scrubbing on the tub/fill it twice to have a bath. Again not a huge issue normally but not quite up to the standards we would expect from a 5 star accommodation. Due to the price tag, our dinner at the Cultra Inn was one of our most expensive dinners we had our entire trip - the food was good but the service definitely left something to be desired. For the associated price we were expecting a bit more from this!

The Culloden was a once in a lifetime stay for us - we would not normally be able to pay the required price for this type of booking but we managed to grab a spectacular deal on Booking.com for this property, staying on a Sunday-Tuesday. The property was absolutely gorgeous full stop. The breakfast was spectacular, so many options and honestly great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed the on site amenities and made our way to the spa for a swim/gym/sauna. The staff was always courteous and amenable, we had many lovely interactions. Relaxing in the Louge Bar in the evenings was also lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was great. There was a statue exhibit going on when we got there - we had a lovely evening walking through and admiring the statues on display that were also available for purchase!

Unfortunately, breakfast was a real letdown. We arrived at 9:00 AM and there were no Eggs Benedict left. The buffet was practically empty and not restocked, which was disappointing. Eventually, I did get Eggs Benedict, but without spinach (they had run out), and they were very poorly made — the ham inside was unpleasant and tasted off. For a hotel of this level, we expected much better service and preparation.

The building itself is stunning — a large, grand castle with beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is impressive and gives a real sense of history. However, the interior, especially the furniture and room decor, felt quite dated and low-quality. Not for the art exhibiton of course. And the staff is very friendly and just great! For such a magnificent estate, you'd expect more attention to detail and a higher standard of furnishings the rooms. That said, we slept very well — the bed was comfortable and the room was quite.

Extortionate price for food and drinks. Service in the Cultra Inn was abysmal, waiting for over 20 minutes for a drink with a quickly cold growing dinner.

Beautiful location for the perfect getaway. Stunning views, especially with the weather we've had lately. The spa was a great way to slow time down and relax. Staff were very attentive and friendly within the hotel itself.

They had a smart tv that you couldn’t connect to the internet because it was locked and we couldn’t watch Netflix and had to watch on my phone. Little disappointed for the price.

For summer comfort a lighter duvet would have been appreciated. The bedroom felt a bit tired.

It is an absolutely wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. Highlight was the pool, leisure centre and the coziness of the bar, corridors. Staff were very friendly. The views are really special.
