There was a slightly musty smell as in a mobile home, but I imagine it is due to it being a Nissan hut. It was fine once we opened the windows for a while. Also the silicone on one side of the shower looked mouldy.

Great facilities, for the most part very clean, nice touches like a few board games and cleaning products. The contact person was very helpful, friendly and prompt. Would stay again.

Large bathroom with the smallest of wash hand basins! Couldn't even wash your face as tap couldn't be moved. Can't understand why a normal size basin wasn't installed. The shower head needs changing, it had water spouting out in all directions. Brought food for cooking, couldn't figure out the oven, no instructions available in hut!! Got fish supper at chippie!

An unusual property, but very clean and comfortable. Perthshire sure has some stunning scenery.

Microwave/cooker combi as could only make one thing at a time really, sofa bed wasn't very comfy. Had some trouble with the WiFi but managed to resolve it.

Lovely experience, huts are renovated to a good spec. Location is stunning. Didn't get to experience the museum as it was closed which was a shame.

The microwave combo oven is very small so cooking was difficult. There is space for a full oven and I would recommend installing one. A shelf could house a separate microwave. The limited cooking facilities make the hut unsuitable for a long stay.

The beds and the sofa and chairs were very comfortable. The hut was light and airy and clean. The location is beautiful, if you don’t mind the industrial section of the camp.

There are a few businesses on site and cars kept driving over a nearby cattle grid in the early hours of the morning. There isn't much soundproofing so this often woke me up. Water pressure was also quite weak in the shower but this wasn't a major issue.

Hosts were super helpful and responsive. The accommodation was decorated to a very high standard and was well kitted out. I definitely felt I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including lunch boxes for picnics out, and extra blankets and Netflix for when the rain set in. Stunning location with loads of wildlife nearby and an interesting history. I'll certainly stay again.

Found it dissapointing that there was no bedding for the sofa bed. Although the host responded quickly and we didn't actually need it the first night, if we had it would have been dissapointing that it wasn't prepared for us. Also the TV didn't have standards channels or we couldn't work out how to use it correctly. Would also have been nice to be pre warned that the central heating wasn't working and the hut would be heated with fan heaters obv not ideal they took a long time to warm the hut and we couldn't leave them on whilst out so the place always felt cold fortunately we didn't spend too much time in the hut, hopefully by now the heating system will be working correctly.

The location was ideal, and the set up of the hut. Everything you needed was thought of.

Very impersonal Third party bed was not comfortable and diffcult to assenbles as slightly faluty Onlu 2 glasses and two bowls for 3 people. The microwave at ground level was divvlt to manage .

Only thing that might make it even better would be an outside BBQ/grilling area or fire pit but there may be health and safety reasons for this not being available.

Cool, clean and just something very different for the kids to experience. The whole camp is great to explore. The Huts are well set up. The wifi is excellent.

We travelled with our small dog, warning to other guests travelling with dogs. The grounds are covered in rabbit droppings , so be mindful if your dog eats what is shouldn't.

The hut was lovely, had everything we needed for our stay. Loads of space inside, with comfy sofas, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Sitting on the outskirts of small village Comrie, felt secluded and peaceful. Looking out windows to the wild rabbits, foxes and deer was rather wonderful. With loads of views of hills and forest. Great for bird watching and start gazing. Short drives to local places Comrie and Crieff.

Only problem was difficulty was in working television i.e. accessing channels, however minor issue.

Unique accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very quiet time of year, no other visitors on site. Hut well equipped and very clean. Decoration and style of furnishings excellent. Good sized accommodation, spacious. When we visited there was a cold snap re weather conditions, we had advance notice that heating system was being updated and electric heaters and bedding were adequate. We would definitely return for another stay.
