Our room had fist holes in the wall. There were mouldy areas within the shower and all around the edges. The base of the shower had a hole underneath and needed fixing. The fixings to the shelf had rusted and began to run down the wall. When I spoke to the front desk, they advised me that someone had siliconed over the mould. Also, upon arrival, there was a £10 per night charge for parking, which was in the very small print. So be careful as this doesn't show when booking or on your confirmation email.

Lovely restaurant area and outside looked amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms need sorting!

The bathroom was really old fashioned and our toiletries were used already. The bed was really uncomfortable we thought the spring was going to pop out and felt like you were on the floor.

The bar and restaurant area is very nice, modern and the staff were really friendly all around.

Had to pay extra for parking. Close to major sewage works and smell was too bad to open the window on a warm night.

Age of rooms, lots of damage in the room, mold in the shower, as an asthmatic I could not use the shower due to this. Interesting long-term residents at the hotel hanging outside. £10 for parking even though hotel residents

The food in the restaurant was very good. Staff were very pleasant.

Bathroom was a bit grotty, smelt a bit funny. Pillows in room need replacing, no squish left in them No food available Sunday evening, didn’t see that communicated anywhere. Breakfast buffet was cold both mornings, no staff around to tell. Such a shame as such easy fixes, could be easily improved

Location was good for nearby the golf club. Lovely setting on the canal. Food in the evening was ok, value for money.

Rooms are rather tired, bathroom had mould. Used my flip flops to shower as cleanliness was poor. It’s a pub with rooms above so expectations have to be managed. I have stayed in better places of similar concept. It doesn’t take much effort to get rid of black sealant in the bathroom and sort out mould

Location is great. Right next to the river with great pub garden.

Hallway carpets are from the 70s, room carpet had holes and worn, bed mattress was bumpy at guess probably 10+ years old.

Breakfast and bar area was updated and nice.

The weather was good, so the outside area was pleasant to sit in. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

The mattress was absolutely horrendous. I hardly slept at all. Not good. They also charged £10 for parking, that would’ve been included if I had booked direct and not from Booking.com

Bedroom very tatty, paintwork badly discoloured, grouting in shower tiles discoloured, shelf in bathroom broken, and something silly but no spoon to stir tea. Stayed before and had nice room but was years ago. Badly needs some work doing.

Cuttlebridge is lovely, location great, breakfast great, pub and restaurant good.

Bedrooms are in need of an urgent upgrade, mattresses desperately need replacing. Reception not very helpful, asked for extra pillows as only one each in rooms, was told no spares and they would get some from another room (which he did), but made to feel as though we were asking for the moon.

Downstairs pub area is lovely and modern.

The cups at breakfast were not the cleanest, there was only 1/2 a loo roll in the room until asked for more. You pay for parking £10 per night, if you don’t book direct and on our first day we went out but when we got back at about 8pm there was no parking space, we were then told that there was a conference on and there would be parking available as about 10pm…. The rooms are a little tired and when the cleaners are working in the morning they put a phone number n a radiator on full volume for music, when they are on break they sit on a corridor and you have to squeeze past.

The location was fantastic, the staff were very fantastic could not have helped any more.

The parking charge was not clear on the website vs what the hotel were charging, web site says £10 per stay, hotel charges £10 per night , room was tired and the carpet was stained, the ceiling had water marks on it

Payment for parking…… Room shower was blocked and smelt room out. I raised after night one, but not dealt with by housekeeping. Rust and mould present in bathroom (mould on ceiling by shower, rust on shelves), toilet bottom looks old/stained. Don’t think price matched a deluxe room. Floorboards of room above need attention…. Kept me awake on night 1 following finish of event at hotel.

Good food (dinner and breakfast) and very cheaply priced if you take 2for 1). Friendly staff.
