The stairs are very steep and narrow. Difficult if you have a lot of bags, especially if heavy.

The room plus the bathroom were too small for 3. Not enough space to open luggage easily. But it was a good value for money

It was a bit noisy at nighttime, doors slamming and other guests were a bit noisy. Some shouting late at night.

The property was close to the train stn just a 2 min walk. It was ideal for simply sleeping in if you have to leave early in the morning but I would not otherwise wish to spend any longer in the room - however good value for money.

The rooms were hot and there was no way to cool them down.

The location is good. Not too close to the center, but very close to train stations and the underground stations. The rooms are small but there was still enough space for all the things you may need for a short stay.

Bathroom very compact, good enough for a couple of nights. Overall our room was limited on space but did not bother is for a couple of night stay as in London you spend little time in your room.

It is a bit outdated and not so comfortable, mainly because of the room size. However, for a short stay, it is perfect (and still exactly as described).

You can hear the underground, if your a light sleeper, but I slept really well and am used to the peace of the country, so not a big deal if I'm honest.

There were some unpleasant smells coming from the plumbing at points, which made me reluctant to use the shower. Also, weirdly, bedroom doors don’t seem to lock automatically on being closed, allowing me to inadvertently push open the door to another customer’s room when trying to find the stairwell when leaving early in the morning - i’m not sure if it was more embarrassing for me or for her!

Location location location… if, like me, you have a crack of dawn Eurostar to catch then you can’t do much better than the Fairway hotel, which is is no more than five minutes walk away from check-in. Also, despite being in the heart of the Kings Cross area the street was relatively quiet at night, and arriving late and departing early it didn’t feel unsafe. The room was also acceptable. It was small, as I expected, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom adequately equipped. Also, whilst there was no air-conditioning, I was able to open the window sufficiently to get a breeze going. On arrival at the hotel the person at reception was friendly and helpful, and leaving at the end of my short stay was also straightforward. Overall, for a cheap bed close to Eurostar it did the trick for me.

The room was tiny but I knew it would be Could do with some decoration in places…radiator etc But none of this deterred from a cheap over night stop and a good sleep

The bathroom was tiny and the stairway to the room was narrow, making it difficult to manoeuvre suitcases.

The location near St Pancras was perfect as we had an early train to catch. The beds were basic but comfortable.
