The house was lovely, like a home from home. We were greeted by the host on arrival who couldn't have been more welcoming and always available throughout the stay if we needed anything. There was a beautiful welcome pack left for us with everything we could possibly need for the weekend. The house was beautiful and very homely. Everywhere was spotless and very comfortable.

Adding a dryer would be a additional perk.

Our host was beyond wonderful and very helpful with any question we had and went out of his way to help us understand Scottish culture more. We loved this clean and peaceful home. There were exceptional attention to details that made us feel right at home. Excellent choice for a family with kids as well as a group. Would definitely come back!

Great house with everything you need, very clean and tidy & we met with the host for the keys who showed us everything we needed to know, the beds are great and tones of wardrobe storage, really good place to stay.

such a well equipped, comfortable, cozy home to come back to from busy, windy sightseeing. The host Alex is great! came by to welcome us, oriented us to the workings of things in the house, left us thoughtful basics in terms of snacks and tea, coffee, milk. washing machine is very handy to have onsite. multiple bathrooms made getting ready in the am quicker. we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

It felt homy right away because we were warmly welcomed. The area is quiet and a good place to start exploring the island. The cottage is really well equipped and really comfortable. It was exactly what we hoped for. We shall return!

We loved the location of the cottage, standing at the kitchen sink in the morning with sunlight pouring in is a wonderful memory. The cottage was comfortable, roomy with a well equipped kitchen, in a quiet location. Kitty offered thoughtful extras in the kitchen that made our stay extra nice.

We had a wonderful experience. The host was nice (was waiting for us with the keys, left some croissants and stuff for breakfast), the house was super spacious, clean and comfy. It is conveniently located North of Stornoway, with views and sheeps for neighbors.

House beautiful, warm as toast. Alex was always ready for any information re the area.

Alex was THE best host, we could not be happier. He left us supplies in case ferry was late in, which was very thoughtful and appreciated.

I recommend a plastic clothes horse for inside incase washing is done. I recommend a hairdryer (we didn't see one, if there was one there). I recommend tissues for bedroom, but maybe they are not popular in Scotland, as we have not found them in some previous places either. But there was nothing we did not like.

We liked it all. It was warm and cosy and clean and comfortable. The beds were lovely as was the linen. The kitchen was excellent. The host left some nice food and drinks for guests. It was all nicely renovated and very clean. We could park very close to the back door which was convenient. It was perfectly quiet. Nice garden. Washing machine. More than one bathroom. Friendly host was there as soon as we arrived. It was all lovely. Thank you. We would highly recommend it.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and the welcome pack was the best we have ever had with every care taken to accommodate someone who may arrive late and not been able to do any shopping. We would certainly recommend this property. The location was good and quiet.

Location is a quiet neighborhood away from the main part of town. The house was very clean and comfortable, and our host was very friendly. The snacks they provided for breakfast were great.
