Great choice for breakfast

Not a great choice for room service or meals in bar area.

Breakfast was fine - although it took a little getting used to not being able to see and then choose items from a Buffet bar. Dinner on the first night was good and of course the view was excellent for both!

We might have eaten dinner on subsequent nights but the menu had not changed and so we just chose a light meal in the bar area.

The views from the room were superb, very comfortable and well appointed. A good choice of food at breakfast with full table service,. we had dinner there for two nights and each time the food was superbly cooked, the ambience in the restaurant superb, looking over the river.

The hotel still does not have their pool open, but other than that there is nothing to dislike

Location is great and rooms are lovely.

I’ve visited several times and always contact the property beforehand to make sure they’re aware I’m dairy and gluten intolerant. This time, I even specifically asked for vegan yoghurt for breakfast, which they took note of supposedly. There was none all 3 days I was there even though I asked about it on the first day. Out of the 8 or 9 times I’ve been, they’ve only had it twice. Very poor customer service.

Spectacular location with gardens onto the river and great access to the town. Beautiful elegant decor and excellent service.Super breakfast with a great choice.

Our room choice was quite small for the price and there was no aircon. We did mention this and apparent;y other rooms do have air con so worth checking that when booking.

dinner and breakfast really good

the first receptionist was very cold and not very welcoming and sounded like she was reading from a script the room was very small and had to pay nearly £200 for an upgrade Melissa was the other receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly all the bar staff and dining staff were lovely and helpful

The staff, the overall peace, setting and grounds. The care taken to ensure a relaxing stay. Being able to have breakfast in the room and the overall breakfast was a high standard.

The gym was. a a bit of a let down, would be nice to have leisure facilities.

The hotel was very clean with comfy chairs in the lounge area. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

The bedroom was very small for a double.

Position was very good

Felt more corporate than holiday

Position is on the estuary, with lovely views and great for people watching plus ferry watching as well. Car park is free and very useful as parking in Dartmouth can be a problem. Great staff, friendly and efficient. Food made to order and tasty- delivered with a smile

Have been visiting the Dart marina for a number of years- therefore we haven’t any issues!
