Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pub on the other side as a solo female traveller was a bit scary

The car park behind the Hotel looks derelict, and more like a tip site. This is partially due to the closure of the restaurant that was attached to the Hotel. We were super worried about our cars safety. The employee who greeted us at the desk assured us there were cameras and it would be fine. Lucky, nothing happened, but I would not recommend it for long term parking.
Was greeted by super friendly staff upon arrival who immediately sorted us out, the bed was comfortable too and there’s a cute pub across the road. The Pub is very lively but with the windows closed at night, the noise is hardly a bother. All in all, the Hotel is a great stay for a short term stop-over in Redditch. It needs a bit of love, some new paint here and there. But its facilities are alright for the price and charming service.

No food easily available in the area and the restaurant shown next door in the photo has been replaced by a corner shop (who were helpful in contacting reception). The car park was occupied by non residents and it was unclear which areas were available. Stairs to room very steep. The local area has seen better days.
The bedroom was relatively recently decorated and was an adequate size with a comfortable bed. When finally contacted the receptionist was helpful.

There’s things that could be easily made better like some curtains, the toilet roll holder fixed, some late night noise about 1am but what you expect when there is a pub over the road
Was very small room but was nice because had everything I needed to have a rest and some time to myself, good that its just a short walk to the shops, and was good because of early check in and late check out, and would stay again when I need a break

Some peeling paint in the en-suite shower otherwise clean and comfortable.
The hotel is near the venue I travelled to, reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. Friendly , helpful and polite host on arrival. Parking at the rear of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, could do with a lick of paint in the en suite but everywhere was very clean and I had a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities, tv and Wi-Fi.

No window in the toilet meaning there was mould on the walls/ceilings Room was very warm and stuffy Shower was either really hot or really cold no in-between Parking in on a side street with no security to it was struggling to sleep incase my car was damaged or stolen.

It would have been nice to have some bottled water and maybe some biscuits, in addition to the tea and coffee that was provided.
The Hotel is in a good location being just a few minutes walking distance to Redditch town centre and train station and is also on a main bus route. The room I stayed in was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite bathroom facilities were very good.

Parking can get limited if busy. Hotel is located in a busy residential area but was not noisy.

Small amount of packaging left in the room in the wardrobe. Not a concern though, the rest of the room was clean
