Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The host was so so nice he welcomed is with tea, gave us local recommendations and even took us to the nearby train station when it was raining. Excellent hospitality, nice rooms and overall lovely experience.

AustraliaParking was in the street with 1st come 1st park when you could find one. Room and ensuite was a bit small with the only hanging being 3 coat hangers on wall bracket, cases had to go under bed and only 1 small shelf, but you have to remember that these houses were not designed with ensuites so they have to be built into the rooms.
The location was great as it was only a short walk to the main shopping area. The hosts Ian and Christine and the breakfasts were exceptional. Quiet area within the village.

The location of the guest house is just a 10 mins walk from the Windermere station and 5 mins from the town centre. Ian is a very welcoming and friendly guy and will provide you all the details about the place and help you plan your outing as well. The food is nice and so is the ambience of the house.

It was really nice to have a home cooked breakfast. Location was great being only a 10min walk from the train station where we could catch buses to the other towns. Couldn't have asked for any better really, and for a good price! Would definitely stay here again.
