Quiet location but central for getting about. Large clean room, hosts Ken and Cindy very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice, from gorgeous fresh fruit and thick creamy yoghurt, to full English. Also the coffee was actually good, sometimes find it too weak or bitter. Ten out of ten for everything and would definitely stay again.

Very clean property, excellent and professional hosts. Actually hosts of this property are its biggest asset!

Bed was little small and mattress was soft.

Great place to stay. Comfortable. Welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. The location was ideal for us. Hosts Ken & Cindy were fantastic.

Location and breakfast was amazing

The breakfasts were excellent, the hosts make breakfast fresh every day for each guest individually. The hosts live in the back of the guesthouse, they are very nice, helpful and available at any time. There is a small lounge with a fireplace, pleasant seating and lots of information about the surrounding options for tourists.

The breakfast was fantastic. Location was perfect, nice and quiet. Easy parking. Short walk to bus stops. The hosts where very helpful, helpful with tour's and knowledge for places to visit. Very friendly. Would recommend 100% to book a stay here. 👌

There was nothing to dislike, it is perfect.

We selected what we required for a cooked breakfast the evening before. The host were extremely flexible on requirements. They had a great cold table of cereals, yogurts and freshly prepared fruit salad etc.

Location was perfect to where we wanted to visit . Cindy and Ken (the hosts) were so knowledgeable about the area and places of interest .. The breakfast which was included in the room price was cooked to order and was excellent.

Fantastic hosts. Very attentive to our needs including to my partner who has a dairy intolerance. Ken and Cindy went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay and made the most of our time. They have knowledge of various walking trails and gave us written instructions for two routes. One of which included a cake stop! The location of the property is ideal, situated between Bowness and Windemere which are both within walking distance. Very clean and well presented.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

I don’t know, where to start. Ken and Cindy are the charming and helpfull hosts. We enjoyed the delicious breakfeasts, the advices and tips for walks. The treat the guests like the family members. The location is perfect, you can reach two different villages/towns in 10 mintes by foot (including the piers for boat cruises). The rooms are clean and you find there everything, you need.

Ken and Cindy provided outstanding hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, and the service exceptional. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained. The property is in a great location—within walking distance to both Windermere and Bowness. Highly recommended!

Ken and Cindy were very welcoming. Our stay was lovely and we really enjoyed it, location was lovely, nice walk about 15 mins to Bowness centre, where there are lots of bars, restaurants, shops to have a stroll around. The rooms are lovely, immaculately clean, nice comfy bed, tea tray with a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuit, sweets. Hosts were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Good advice on where to eat, Bangkok 9 was very nice 👍 😋 Highly recommend and will 100% be returning.

Very stylish and extremely well decorated property. Ken and Cindy were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was superb. Great location.

Pity we couldn’t have stayed longer..

What we really loved was how central the B&B was, with an easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. The hosts were clearly passionate and made us feel instantly welcome and at home. The beds were super comfy too!
