How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great apartment that has been recently refurbished. Short walk from the sea front, pubs, restaurants and shops. Quiet location. Good wifi. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Free parking. Lots of extras such as fruit, milk and biscuits.

The cooking hob and microwave was a bit complicated to use.
Modern and had everything you need for a short stay. Very comfy beds.

Loved the big apartment we usually stay in the one bedroom apt . Always stay at any of the suites available. Been coming a few years and always stay here. The best and comfiest bed and linen ever won't get luxury and comfort like this . Just everything you need close by to shops , pubs and beach. Plus parking and great checkout time 11am .

There is honestly nothing! I can say that myself or my kids did not like From location ! Which was excellent! , car parking right out front or back of appartments fantastic! Aldi / b n m / corner shops and plenty of food places around area also .... we also ordered of just eat one night we couldn't be bothered to go out ! ..... no one could possibly be disappointed in these apartments!
The whole stay was absolutely amazing ! The little things like fresh milk and fresh fruit for arrival are just so thoughtful and lovely, I decided to stay 1 extra night, but the 1st apartment no. 5 we were in was booked out, so the owner went above and beyond !! to find me accommodation.... we managed to get apartment 1 ( in the same building), and I can honestly say both appartments are outstanding ...... the staff are lovely from owners to cleaners.... me and my kids loved it so much that I really would find it difficult to come to blackpool and stay anywhere else now ! ( and I've been to many hotels / accommodation ) That's how lovely it is ! And I never write reviews! But this place deserves acknowledgement!!

Sofa bed was uncomfortable very hard. Parking was available on night 1 but on night 2 it did appear that other houses were using the rear parking leaving no space for customers. We did find parking round the next street.
Location was great. Close to many shops and restaurants. Apartment was clean and modern. Lots of space and was a great base for our holiday. I would definitely recommend. The owners clearly go above and beyond with little extras like fruit and milk. This was great for when we arrived and kids were peckish.

Booking was easy, the rooms were lovely and the finishing touches made it feel extra special. The location was great, St Anne’s is a very safe and sociable place with lots of good activities for both families and adults.

No downsides really - bed very soft but everyone else loved it!
Absolutely immaculate! Extra touches which were so thoughtful such as Easter treats for my little girl. Could not fault the place.

Great location,close to pubs restaurants shops and cafés . Five minutes walk to the sea front . Every where was spotless , lovely and warm and the bed very comfortable. The little extras like milk in the fridge and fresh fruit were a nice touch . Kitchen had everything you need for self-catering . Parking at the property was included and we found a space with no problem. I will definitely be returning in the near future as this was a fabulous place to stay .
