The bed was very uncomfortable needs a new mattress very lumpy. The curtains are broken so don’t close properly meaning it’s very bright. There was an awful smell on our second night like sewage unsure if it was coming from outside but everytime you opened the bathroom door it stank. Despite having all the windows open.

The location was very convenient to get to the national swimming pool. Check in was really easy and convenient.

Shower was a bit of an issue with warm water disappearing mid showering. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty and no bin liner in the bathroom bin were the other minor issues

Lovely Edwardian house, looks better inside than the outside. Budget room which accorded me a restful base for a few days. Comfortable bed. Excellent wifi connectivity. Good communication with hosts who were responsive and helpful. Thankful to the domesti c lady who was kind and helpful

Damp issue. I would recommend scraping where the damp has been painted over, hiring an extractor fan and thoroughly drying the damp out. We noticed the dampness due to the infestation of ladybirds. Also can you ensure the instructions to locate the property are far clearer, I.e state the door number on the main instructions, as it took a while to find the full property details. There was a lack of hot water at night, which would suggest it runs from a water tank rather than a combi boiler.

Located just 10 mins from Swansea city, the room is spacious, with a comfortable double bed, shower room, TV, and table. There’s a microwave, kettle and sink contained within the room.

I didn't like the fact it took a while for the guest room big radiator to heat up to a conducive temperature, when it did eventually warm up, it was at a good hot temperature too, but the smaller radiator in the corner, didn't warm up at all. The guest room door handle was so much loose, i was a bit concerned it could possibly come off the door, i think it would be better, cause it was quite a big guest room, if staff could provide a back- up portable heater for this guest room aswell, and a hot water bottle too maybe, I also found the switch to heat up the shower facility was situated in a place that was a bit confusing as it was outside the shower room facility, in the guest room.. I also found the view from the front window could have been a bit better, could be a bit more acctractive in some way, but still keeping the privacy of the hedges or trees 🌳 that are there too. I enjoyed my overnight stay and would recommend this place to stay at for traveller's, i just think this guest room needs a couple of minor "tweaks" which i have mentioned about..

I liked the good location quite upmarket area good public transport services nearby, friendly locals people, Staff were good, Cause i had mobility health issues, i was able to last-minute swap my guest room for a more suitable guest room, Guest room was very clean and quite cosy with convient lampshade.

Property was damp, there was a foul smell as you entered. No hot water and no shower towels or hand towels available. Room advised of cooking facilities but there was only a microwave.

I was asked to change rooms with a 20% discount, or cancel, I was told that the room had no ensuite but had a toilet/bathroom and kitchenette opposite, these were not in good condition requiring a lot of work/attention. The room itself was very far from "up to a standard", even though I was moved to this room I expected it to be on par with the original room I had booked but without the ensuite. The WIFI was intermittent, at best, probably not rated enough for the number of rooms in the building. The outside appearance of the building looked derelict and in need of repair

The room was connected to another room with a closed up door which was quite noisy when the TV was on in the other room.

The room had everything I needed when I finally managed to find it. There was a problem with towels which was resolved quickly.

The unfinished nature of the building, grounds and bedroom. The careless quick fix mess of the place. The dangerous screws sticking out of units. The fungus and mold growing out of the bathroom floor. The holes and dodgy fixings in the bathroom. The wardrobe clothes rails being over a sink and over a fridge and kettle shoved in the same storage space. The tiny 'extra' blanket on the bed. The unfinished plaster board coverings. The patchwork wallpaper. The lack of heating. The toxic overuse of fabric spray. The dirt and grime in corners and edges. The stains on the carpet. The piles of rubbish, mattresses and linen piled against walls in other rooms with doors left open. Linen hung over doors to dry. No evidence of a fire alarm system or extinguishers. The pile of smashed glass outside. The people sat outside in a car smoking weed. The rudeness of the 'manager / maintenance' person on the phone. The week long fight to get our money back after leaving the property. I just would not chance your luck. Even if the rooms were clean and warm, the disregard for a health and safety risk assessment and lack of attention to basic standards will put you in danger.

Thank goodness we didnt have food here. It was unhygienic in the public rooms, I dread to think what a kitchen would be like.

The location close to the hospital shops cafes park and proper local were just what we needed yes the owner is in the process of upgrading and there are some three star rather than four star aspects but any thing we mentioned was dealt with immediately. In fact the staff were excellent and we will most certainly stay here again.

The room was damp and very dated. The shower didn’t drain so was standing in water. Woke up this morning to find a large cockroach on the bedroom wall. Very basic for the cost.

The only thing I did like was the space itself but it still needed some tender loving care!

The property IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION…the owner really should have waited to rent it. The grass wasn’t cut, the was no carpet on the stairs (which he needs to mention that there are stairs because my bags were too heavy to take up alone). I could see in the downstairs rooms and they were messy!!!! The guy working on the place was hammering most of the day. And the strange part of all — was the Space once I got into the room, was nice and big. It has the potential to be great…I probably wouldn’t even write this review if he would have told me that it’s under construction. At least I would have been mentally prepared. I was glad it was only for 1 night. It might be grand now. Just ask before booking.
