We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt wasn't too clean. There were multiple dead flies on the counter tops and there was no hot water which wasn't listed. It looks quite tired in places and could do with a spruce up.
It was a really interesting accommodation. It was well decorated, just a few little details needed touching up to make it great.

United KingdomIts a shame the bar was only decorative. We knew the toilets werent on board and though the campsite facilities were of an excellent standard sharing with dozens of other people wasnt what we had expected. The hot tub was also communal so never got to use it
The bus was fitted out to a high standard. Excellent kitchen facilities and a lovely comfy bed. Loved the quirky decorations on both floors.

United KingdomNo bathroom, but shower & toilet not far a way. Lot people wouldn't like it as unisex but didn't bother us. The bus does need a bit updating. Could do with someone to greet on site & there was some camper bit confused where to go. There is no hot water in the kitchen as no boiler. But use kettle. It's not an idea for Disabled people because of bus stairs. A lot of people would like one to one greet.
The camp site was quiet & close to the university for the Scooter rally & town centre. The bus was nice & the bed was comfortable.kitchen was better than I thought. There is tassimo there as well. It's was quirky & we took a lot of photos where taken .it's not far from toilets & shower block. Which is clean. The bus is an idea for the weekend as a couple. There is a fab if get hot in the bus. If you stay on the bus, you can use the hot tub, but we didn't have time. There is a patio with a table and chairs which could do with clean. Overall, we had a lovely weekend.. Have own parking spare. We do recommend it.

United KingdomIn the description, it does note that there's no toilet facilities on the bus and this may be something other's would struggle with. The bed is on the top floor, so with the windy weather you do feel a bit vulnerable.
It was good to be able to make breakfast and have use of kitchen appliances. The novelty of sleeping on a bus is quite unique and it was a fun experience. I feel like it's a good use of space. Overall, good little experience for a one night stay.

United KingdomBus located near entrance to site - next door to the recycling and waste area and main thoroughfare to rest of site. Site a mixture of seasonal tourers, glamping pods and cottages. We were sharing the toilets and showers with the tourers. Not too far from the bus and not the worst (or best) site facilities we have experienced. After a quick look inside the bus we decided to explore the site. We ventured into the swimming pool and hot tub area to have a look (it was the hottest day of the year so looking forward to the cool waters of the pool. As soon as we opened the gate a very angry young woman confronted us - saying it was family time and private property. I politely explained that we were staying in the double decker bus and asked when the pool would be free for us. She started screaming at me aggressively - told me to go away - something about us (myself and daughter) being dirty and warned us not to use the facilities. Both myself and daughter was shaken by this outburst and I comforted my daughter in Welsh ( our Ist language) In turn the young woman shouted at us again in a different language and her partner joined in the shouting. When we left the pool area we realised that a large group of extended families were staying in the cottages and were very unwelcoming of people of different culture to themselves. We quickly returned to the bus and ventured out again to the facilities but met members of the extended family again, who made us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. At this point I decided to phone the emergency contact number. The site owner apologised for the other guests behaviour and advised us to stay away from the pool area and offered us the use of a town centre Hotel indoor Spa. Not something we wanted to do on a hot day!!! Fearing for our safety we made the decision to seek alternative accommodation for the 2 nights we had booked - so a total waste of money.
Double Decker bus as expected - quirky and different. Wish we would have been able to stay and enjoy the experience.

I booked it for my partner's 30th and he loved it, we took our own fan but there was one provided (we didn't no), had everything you needed and more, and right next to the toilets. Location is great to, we walked into Aberystwyth and got a taxi back up the hill.

United KingdomThe bus was very dirty. Stains all over carpet, mould on window nets, kitchen area surface not been cleaned flys cobwebs in most places around the bus. Electric went off in the morning so we couldn’t get warm or have a coffee before leaving. I could go on! This bus is in desperate need of a revamp and deep clean

United KingdomFor me the lower deck could have been used as a comfortable lounge area. The futon used as a sofa was perfect for my wife but the hard edge cut into my legs. On the Saturday the site had more people on the site which made using the facilities awkward, without a toilet on the bus it became an issue especially with the bad weather. Needs a light for the stairs when needing to use the loo at night.
The bus was very well designed and had excellent workmanship. The bed was very comfortable.
