Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mattresses should be better. No further complaints.
We received well-structured and clear instructions on how to get there, how to find the apartment, and where to locate the keys (and even how to use them:) ). The apartment is conveniently located (by casual walk 8-10 minutes) near the subway station (Acton Town station), offering good connections to the city center. The apartment was clean, and we received a prompt response to all our questions from the host. The apartment is exactly as presented in the pictures.

The negative side was that the ceiling was low at some places and we need to be careful not to hit our head. The Gunnersbury abenue has relatively heavy traffic even at night and sometimes it was noisy.
Overall the accommodation was nice and cozy, and the host was considerate and all questions were answered promptly and adequately.

The flat could have done with another coat of paint as it looked half done. It also was not that clean, the bathroom floor was not clean and there were a couple of dishes in the cupboards were really dirty however, there wasn't a sponge scourer, that would have helped. I was reasonably comfortable on my mattress however, the others were of a poor quality and were not comfortable to sleep on. The skylights that did not have blackout blinds could really have done with them as the light was bright even at 5am. The "rules" seemed to be over burdensome, with the threat of deductions for every misdemeanor making it hard to relax within the property. There was no parking either despite there being 5/6 parking spaces to the front of the property.
The accommodation was well laid out and felt secure since it was an attic flat in a locked "apartment" building. It was only a ten minute walk from two or three tube/rail stations which made it ideal for our visit. We had quite a bit of trouble locating the key to the property however, the host was available immediately and assisted in a really friendly and reassuring manner. The furniture in the flat was modern and clean. The living space located at the rear of the property had a nice view and was quiet, which was appreciated.

The apartment has many sloping walls and some places are a little bit narrow, so the movements for a person close to 2 meters can be a little bit difficult
It is quite close to Acton Town station and perfect if you are flying from Heathrow. It is also close to Gunnersby Park and Brentford stadium, if you like running and watching football

Nothing to not like.
The property was clean and well maintained. The location is a short walking distance to train station as well as local convenience store. Nayeem was prompt to respond to any of our queries and requests. We will definitely stay here during our future trips.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The place was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to the tube. Our host was welcoming and responsive, and even accommodated a later check out time for us. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

The bed sheets and duvet covers were unclean and need not only washing but replacing. One of the radiators was not working so 1 of the rooms was cold compared to the rest of the house. Most upsettingly was after checkout, the owner accused us of stealing a towel (WHICH WE DID NOT) and had the audacity to ask for a 10/10 review. 🤔
The bathroom shower drain was clogged and it was fixed quite promptly. Area overall quiet.
