What an hidden gem! The room was lovely and bed was so comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The evening meal was delicious. The treat box for you journey on checking out was a nice touch. Ideally situated on the NC500

Bathroom didn’t have quite the standard of other (lesser) hotels we’ve stayed in but this is not a complaint, merely an observation

A truly wonderful place where we felt at home straight away. The beautiful gardens are well looked after and overlook the bay that is spectacular. Very, very dog friendly.

Beautiful location with a nice little walk down to the shore View from room window (loved seeing the birds on the bird feeders outside our room) and conservatory Staff that worked in the restaurant were very polite and friendly, especially Cheryl, who made our evening very enjoyable Evening meal was expensive but was very nice (except the steak which was a little tough) Good choice on breakfast menu and food was delicious Good Wi-Fi Free parking at hotel Treats for our dog was a nice touch

The views over Badrill Bay were stunning. The food was exceptional for such a small hotel they have very talented chef. The cakes and tea were a great touch after a long journey.

Lovely property with amazing views. Comfortable beds. Staff was impeccable. The restaurant was one of the best meals we ate in our 2 weeks in Scotland. Would definitely stay again.

Bathrooms could maybe do with an update. But the bedrooms were lovely.

Location and gardens were stunning. Rooms were of a good standard and the staff were lovely and delivered a great service. Walk through the wooded area and there are plenty of birds to look out for. Staff opened the kitchen for us even though we were late for dinner. Thank you so much, very considerate.

What an absolute gem! Highly recommend staying in this delightful boutique hotel with all you can need. This included shampoo, conditioner, liquid and cake soap, bubble bath, eye masks, shower caps, vanity packs, and delicious biscuits. There was also a sensational restaurant that was well worth dining in for. The upstairs room, with ensuite, overlooked the garden with bird feeder and was very quiet. Parking was on site with plenty of space. The hotel is set in some lovely gardens overlooking the ocean loch. The staff were amazing.

It was expensive. I guess you're paying for the stunning views and little extras.

Set in a beautiful location with stunning views from the rear of the property. The staff were warm and friendly - although checking in and out was luke warm!. Lots of nice touches, like complimentary afternoon tea. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the room was suitably equipped. A delicious breakfast with plenty of choice was served by a very nice young man.

I would have a tidier garden, but it was amazing as it was. That's all I can find to say to not like.

Stunning views and location. Garden benches to look out over the bay.. Attention to detail, fabulous! Dogs welcome hotel, treats, beds, bowls, towels, poo bags, nothing was too much. Afternoon tea on arrival, amazing 👏 Restaurant was spot on, dog friendly area, waiting staff so attentive, friendly and caring. Food was another level!! ***** Leaving package of an apple & biscuit was a kind thought. I wish we could have stayed longer. Owners happy to chat.
