The property is even more beautiful than on the pictures. We had such a wonderful time there with the lovely hosts and their cute dogs. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The warm and friendly atmosphere made it a perfect and unforgettable stay.

Everything was perfect. Its great if you are looking for some quiet, as a location is a little far away from the main town. It should be ok, if you have a car.

The views were gorgeous, the hosts were kind and friendly and at the same time were not intrusive. The entire house smelled nice, the beds were very comfortable. Richard and Rachel left some fruits and tit bits to eat in the fridge and they baked fresh croissants every morning. Overall it felt very homely and I didn't feel like leaving. The drive to the location was very nice as well

Nothing to complain, all was just perfect.

The accommodation Efail Y Garn exceeded all our expectations! It is such a beautiful house with an amazing, large garden where you can relax and have beautiful views across the rural environment. Our room and bath were just perfect, very cozy and beautifully equipped, just awesome! We really enjoyed chatting with Rachel and Richard and the other guests during the great breakfast or evening cooking in the kitchen, or in the living rooms, or garden, and play with the two very friendly small dogs; it really felt like family! Thank you also for the delicious leftovers from the barbecue :-) The location is perfectly positioned to reach, by 30 to 40min car drive, the Gower peninsula, the Brecon beacons national resort, Swansea or Cardiff, or even locations in Pembrokeshire. But it is also possible to just start walking from the house and do a hike into the fields in order to watch the browsing sheeps, very peaceful and relaxing! Thank you so much, Rachel and Richard, for your cordial hospitality! We hope we will be able to come back some time in the future!

Can't find anything to criticise !

Richard and Rachel had gone to great lengths to provide all the possible ingredients for a breakfast on a par with 5 star hotels. They even let you use the kitchen at other times of the day to make lunch or an evening meal. They obviously genuinely love people and make everyone feel so welcome. On one cooler evening they went to the trouble of lighting a fire in the cosy living room just so we could curl up with a good book on their comfy sofas (and stroke Ivy - one of their affectionate dogs!). It was a joy to spend 3 days in this lovely corner of Wales. I only wished I'd booked to stay longer!

Beautiful spot and the house with lovely garden, where you can sit and relax. We were welcomed from Rachel&Richard so warmly and friendly. We had a feeling like visiting an old friends or family. Even their two dogs are so nice and friendly! The comfortable big bedroom with bathroom with a lovely view. And stylish living room for use as well. Cosy kitchen, great selection of food and drinks for breakfast.Thanks so much !

Although self service everything was there to have a fantastic breakfast if you wanted. Dogs very friendly and not noisy. Accepted my dog with no problems.

We didn’t find anything we didn’t like. Facilities were good. Access to the garden for our pet dog. Access to the driveway for our car.

Property was beautiful. We had access to the dining area,kitchen and lounge as well as our rooms. Breakfast items supplied were very good. Hosts were very attentive,friendly and professional.

The view from the property is beautiful. The garden is lovely and spacious. Not very far from shops. The property itself is stylish and homely, and the hosts are very welcoming. The bedrooms are very roomy and also have the same stunning view.

Our Hosts Richard and Rachael made our stay a very enjoyable one. We were welcomed as part of the family and we're free to utilize most of the house and garden.

If you don't have a car you'll have to walk around 30-40mins from the station, but we really enjoyed the beautiful walk anyway. Buses stops a few times a day right in front of the house.

A beautiful house with the kindest hosts, in a peaceful and quiet area. We had a great stay here and definitely would love to come back. I loved the kitchen and dining area and the garden as well! Nice breakfast and cooking facilities. Clean and spacious room. Rachel, the host, kindly provided the adapter I asked for, and really made the stay even comfier. Thank you so much!

Maybe the light bulbs in the bedside lamps could have been brighter - it was hard to read in bed without the main light one - but that is a very minor thing and not really a problem

The hosts were absolutely lovely.Nothing was too much trouble and they even said they would pick us up from the pub! the house is lovely - quirky and fun. The food provided was tasty and we got a fresh croissant every morning.The family dogs, Ivy and Reg were adorable. The house was clean and well appointed - well once our dog had mastered the spiral staircase.

Nothing to dislike but you do need a vehicle to get to local shops or a pub

Homely feel. Very clean and comfortable. Secure parking for our motorcycles. Views and lovely garden. Freedom of use of all the kitchen facilities.

We had a wonderful weekend at Rachel and Richard's, they could not be more friendly and accommodating. As a family we had access to the entire house including kitchen and lounge., The wood burner was going when we arrived and was very cosy. It was also perfect if you have a dog, with access to the garden and plenty of room. Bedrooms and bathrooms very nice, location in the middle of the Welsh countryside with some lovely walks with the dog. Even got a farewell gift of fresh eggs and Welsh cakes (the Welsh cakes didn't make it back to England) Will come back :)

Took me back to my childhood visits to Wales when we stayed in B&Bs. We had our own bathroom and bedroom, but shared the kitchen with our hosts. Breakfast was provided as raw ingredients (cereals, croissants, eggs, etc) which we put together when we wanted it. Had planned to go walking but the weather wasn't as good as we had hoped, but Richard was more than accommodating to our change of plans, giving welcome suggestions. On site parking was easy.

The ratings speak for themselves. Beautiful setting, fantastic hosts that can't do enough to accommodate your every need. A fridge full of food for your personal use, variety of teas & coffee. Lovely bedroom with beautiful views and separate bathroom, with bath and shower. TV including Netflix. Absolutely dog friendly, a must for us, but an ideal location for anybody. Plenty of local amenities. Personally we would book again for a longer stay to more appreciate the surrounding area and S. Wales generally. Try the Shepherds Inn, over the mountain, for good pub grub, brilliant, for us. Definitely going back. We thank you.

Nothing. There were no negatives to our stay. We had so much fun with Rich and Rach that our sides still ache from all the laughter. Will most definitely rebook in the future.

Location was stunning, and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could have wanted. Room was comfortable and sizeable. The friendly dogs were an added bonus. This is the kind of location you stumble upon and try to keep quiet about so that you can get a booking the following year!

Beautiful location overlooking the valley. Full use of the property and garden. Welcomed our 2 dogs without charging extra. Richard and Rachel are the most welcoming hosts we have ever experienced and literally couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.
