This is our 2nd time here and each time it has been very comfortable and enjoyable :) love the hot tub! Internet was not great but this is more than likely due to the location, the tv’s are smart tv’s but with bad internet the devices could not run any apps but that being said we spent most of the time exploring wales but it would have been great to use the likes of Netflix of an evening.

Exactly what we all needed. Clean, tidy, warm, close to beaches and plenty to do. Lovely hosts.

We liked everything. Things that could have improved the stay but are not negatives (just constructive feedback). You could possibly consider a canopy for the hot tub as it rained while we were there (North Wales!) we don't mind rain but other might. Consider another easy chair or beanbags- 5 of us were comfortable in the lounge but 6 would have been too many. More plates, dishes and cutlery would have been handy- we had to wash and dry after every meal or snack instead of filling the dishwasher and doing one big wash.

Host was readily available and on hand if we needed. Equally she gave us the option to be left alone and get on with our catch up. All staff that we met were really lovely- friendly and helpful. Great lodge- nice spec, felt solid. Showers were great. Heating was great.

Good communication with Sally prior to arrival and on check in. Very good facilities, small issue with the gas supply on our last night, but this was sorted very quickly.

    Perfect gem in Anglesey

It's in a perfect spot to explore Anglesey. Short drive to Beaumaris, Transport Museum etc, etc.. We were in Anglesey for other reasons and made the most of our stay whilst there. Everything was comfortable, clean, you had everything you needed and more. Shops not far away for bits and pieces. Just perfect. What this gem has over hotels, is privacy, quiet, relaxation, jacuzzi (our boys loved it, best thing ever!!!!!!❤️), also it's just beautiful. Thank you to Sally. She is lovely. Don't bother with hotels, stay here. It's so worth it. If we ever come to Anglesey again, this is where we are staying again.

The WiFi is not enough to stream Netflix or YouTube. But finally the kids can stay away from them for a few days.

The location is very convenient for our family holiday. It is only a short drive to the attractions. The house is very clean. If you usually live in hotels during travel, it is actually cleaner.

Possibly a bit far out of town, but we did walk it, and pavements all the way. View from the decking was a bit of a mess, field being dug up, but we just looked in the opposite direction!

Self catering so no food. Lovely big lounge and well equipped kitchen area, only 2 of us in accommodation for 6 so lots of room. Clean, lots of extras to make life comfortable. Hot tub was brilliant, on a good terrace which was a sun trap. Comfortable bed, huge telly.

Whole experience of the Lodge was amazing, Good communication before arrival, easy directions, and a very warm welcoming. The lodge was spotlessly clean, very very comfortable, there is everything you need, kitchen facilities were great, really fresh soft lining and towels. Beds are super comfy, we never slept so well !! also recycling bins for use etc, which was great, as I am very environment friendly. You can control your own temperature, which is good. Loads of information about local area, including lots of walks for all levels of fitness. The location was absolutely perfect, 2 minutes drive or a 20 / 30 minutes walk to local village which had a few bars, restaurants, Tescos, a great Indian takeway, plus Finneys chippy. If you want a peaceful comfortable break this is definitely what you will receive. Thank you to all the great weekend !!

There’s not a lot to say about the dislike’s. The master bed was very firm and it wasn’t to our preference but it felt like a good quality mattress. secondly you could smell drains while outside and in the main bathroom. we understood that this wasn’t to be helped but it wasn’t a pleasant smell, my partner figured it was the soil stack (toilet waste pipe) behind the lodge. it was easy to forget about the smell and it didn’t bother us too much.

it was very modern, clean, private and well presented. one of the better quality cabin I have been to. Although it is quite rural there are many villages and things to do around the lodge. if you can dive there are things less than 10 minutes away to access shops and pubs etc. The owners are lovely and leave you be, once you have everything you need on arrival & they are very informative before you arrive to the cabin.

A relaxing countryside getaway, perfect for a couple or group.

There were a few times we struggled with a wifi connection. However I do understand this can just be to do with the location and not the facilities or the host. Sally sent instructions on how to find the lodge, however we were arriving when it was dark which made us struggle to find it initially as the narrow country road aren't lit by streetlight. Once we rung Sally she was able to guide us to the lodge without an issues.

Sally met me at check-in and gave us a tour of the lodge, and got us familiar with all parts concerning what we'd need for our stay. The facilities were perfect, especially liked the en suite shower in the main bedroom. The hot tub was ready for when we arrived too, so we didn't need to wait until using it. Sally made it known that she was always on hand to help with anything we needed, and also to provide advice or recommendations if struggling to look for somewhere to go or something to do.

View of dog poop collection bin from lounge. Noisy next door neighbour playing very loud intermittent bass sound for an hour or so on numerous nights. Broken main toilet seat. Broken blind in single beds room. Mould on en-suite bathroom blinds.

Anglesey is wonderful. Hosts are nice, but unable to address noise unfortunately. Comfortable beds, lovely clean bedding and towels. Hot tub nice and warm for our arrival. Animal area near glamping pods is lovely.
