Stunning property, very cosy and well presented, lovely warm feel to it. The wildlife that comes to visit the garden is fascinating and kept us entertained for hours.

The lane beside the cottage can be a bit muddy.

As the property is self catering, there where some essentials available, such as home made bread, milk etcetera, which was a nice touch.

An immaculately presented, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully organised cottage. The host went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed and even made us some homemade bread and left milk and eggs in the fridge. It was a shame that we couldn’t stay for longer. Thank you again and sorry for the late review.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Heather was a wonderful host. Truly lovely. Was so kind and attentive. Cottage was just dreamy. Immaculately clean and absolutely beautiful, so so cozy. Stayed with my daughter for a couple of days and enjoyed playing out in the garden and taking a walk down the farm lane. There was complimentary wheaten bread which was incredible and bed was so comfortable. Overall it was the most perfect stay. Just what we needed!

There was nothing I didn't like

I loved everything about my stay at Elm Tree Cottage. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated, it was fully equipped with everything I needed,the host was very welcoming and the surroundings were idyllic. We were made to feel very welcome and being a female solo traveller, I felt very secure. Heather, Ronnie and Maddie made Queenie and I feel right at home as soon as I stepped out of my car, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning as I miss the peace and quiet already.

This cottage was perfect, beautiful furnishings, quality bedding, spotlessly clean and attention to detail was fantastic. Lovely bread, jam, eggs etc was an added bonus!

The Cottage was close to a village that offered a good range of facilities. A great base for exploring Northern Ireland. The Cottage itself was beautifully decorated and cosy.

The bathroom was beautiful too, with excellent complimentary toiletries. the only thing that could be improved was the shower which could have been a bit stronger.

Heather was a perfect host who greeted us like old friends. Everything at Elm Tree Cottage was top quality, new and tastefully done. The bed was really comfortable with a gorgeous down duvet, crisp cotton bed linen and plentiful pillows and towels. We loved all the provisions that Heather left for us, especially the home cooked Irish wheaten bread. We enjoyed watching the wild birds and red squirrels out through the window. It was really cosy and we made use of the wood-burning stove, with a big basket of logs to help ourselves to. Even our dog was made to feel welcome with doggie treats, a doggie towel and so on.

We thought about it ... but there was nothing we didn't like. A tip: put some more hooks in the bathroom for towels and put a shelf or a chest of drawers in the bedroom for storing clothes (if you stay longer).

A cottage to come back to! We were really looking forward to our stay and were also curious whether our expectations would be confirmed. They were 1000%! The cottage is situated in the backyard/garden of the owners' house. Very quiet and idyllic! In the garden there is a big tree full of birds and if you are lucky also squirrels! The cottage... everything is just right here. As soon as you open the door and have a first look into the living room you feel very comfortable and welcome. Kitchen, dining area and living room flow into each other. The bedroom is a good size and the bed is built into a cosy alcove and very comfortable. The bathroom has a good sized shower, sink and toilet. All the rooms are lovingly decorated and there is no worn or damaged furniture anywhere. Everything in the cupboards, whether it be crockery, cutlery or other cooking utensils, is clean and of good quality. A dream! And even the first breakfast was taken care of! We felt more than comfortable here... Many thanks to Heather and Ronnie for the wonderful time we spent here. We will definitely come back. ❤️😍👌
