Location was spot on and central to all the places we wanted to see. Favourite by far was having a complimentary breakfast roll hand delivered by Emma's daughter phillipa. There was nothing we didn't like other than having to leave . We will be back for longer next time. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Absolutely nothing.

Bacon rolls were great. Emma the owner and young phillipa who bought rolls to the room. Nothing was to much trouble. The room was self contained and all on ground floor very clean we would stop there again.

This was our second visit. Emma goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. The bacon sarnies, served by her lovely daughter, are such a thoughtful touch. It's so handy being able to park the car right outside and walk everywhere. The room is clean and comfortable and the shower is top notch. I'm sure we'll be back.

The place was amazing,the owner was so pleasant,it was my fault I forgot to ask for lower floor and to climb three flights of stairs,Emma said a room woul be available on ground floor and moved us down next morning,the rooms were exceptional in every aspect.The extras that weren’t advertised was a surprise,there was fresh fruit in lobby and the best surprise was bacon on a bun every morning for breakfast,thank you very much

Emma is a great lady who wants your stay to be as homey and as comfortable as possible. Pipa , her daughter was a delight. She brought us croissants and a bacon sandwich in the morning. We would definitely go back. We highly recommend it.

The room wasn't made up after our first night.

The room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was ideal; super bacon rolls and a good choice of cereals.

The room and bathroom are quite spacious and very tastefully furnished and has everything you need - Emma pointed out the heater to dry my walking gear, which worked like a charm. My husband showed up as a surprise late in the afternoon, but we weren't even charged for him. Lovely Greek yoghurt (the good stuff!) and muesli for breakfast in our room. The whole atmosphere was simply welcoming and warm. Thank you, Emma.

Lovely stay in a beautiful house and convenient location. Everything very clean and comfortable. Bacon rolls delivered in the morning, really tasty. Really welcoming with nice little touches like chocolates on pillows and even little chocolates for the children. Bathroom toiletries provided too. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

It would have been useful to know beforehand that breakfast was included.

The rooms were very close to the East Devon Cycle Trail and Emma was very helpful in accommodating our bikes overnight. The complimentary breakfast was most welcome

It was a very nice room with a really comfortable bed. Complimentary danish pastry and a bacon roll done to perfection for breakfast. There was even Yorkshire tea bags in the room! The host, Emma was very welcoming. There is a nice friendly pub within walking distance that served a lovely meal and good beer.

Large, comfortable room with two sofas and a spacious en-suite. Excellent power shower. Slept like a log. Great bacon roll in the morning was an unexpected bonus.

Nothing everything was just spot on.

A wonderful room in this generous home, spacious, light and airy, a good choice of decor complements this. Everything though of. The ‘soft’ bed was incredibly perfect, I will be changing my mattress! Good linen etc Tea and coffee facilities in the room plus fresh milk provided. Emma and the girls were very polite and helpful. Arm chair, and foot stool plus a 2 seater comfortable sofa in the window recess, all well positioned to relax infront of the TV. Another window-seat in the morning sun. Handy folding table for use alongside the armchair. The shower over the bath is excellent not one of those large, overhead items wetting your hair whether you intended to wash or not. Hanger for shampoo etc. Skylight window, excellent for hot days. Well positioned hooks for towels etc. Full length and 'dressing table' mirror well positioned, near the window for daylight application of make up. Dual aspect windows give a good through draught when required, which was so pleasant as hot weather when we stayed. Also provided was an oscillating fan if needed. On the spacious landing is a kitchenette section with sink, cereal, dishes and cutlery plus a microwave. There is plenty of parking with good turning space for a large car. Entrance hall with varied selection of fresh fruit. Plenty of space to leave muddy boots. Unexpected but welcome choice of bacon roll or croissant delivered to your room each morning. We will definitely stay again next time in the area. We had the loft conversion room which of courage had many stairs but this large spacious property has other rooms to possibly accommodate others needing fewer stairs.

Emma and her little Helper are very nice and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome and clear information about everything. The room is very clean and comfortable, shower is great. Emma recommended some good restaurants for us and replied us quickly when we have questions. Thank you very much for the very nice breakfast sent to our room and good fruit in the hall. We have had a great time when staying here.
