The house was very clean, well equipped and in a lovely location for exploring Port Isaac and Cornwall. And there was parking right outside the house!! And would definitely stay here again!!

Unfortunately the bed was very hard and very poor quality bedding more like teenage student standard which let it down.

Great location, full of character. Kitchen was perfect. View of the sea with sea breeze into upper floor

    It's very hilly

The house was beautiful and the location perfect. Port Isaac is perfect apart from the hills and is now our favourite go-to place

No option of taking a cot which is normally a given when booking an entire home with multiple bedrooms. What was worse though was the painful WhatsApp chat that you have to use to get an answer about anything, days to get a response, and then the most robotic and bizarre answers you have ever heard. It all seems quite confusing, I was speaking with someone at Sykes cottages, but the accommodation seemed to be run by John Bray holiday homes, or something like that. Anyway, I would have thought that between those two companies with multiple accommodation options in the area it wouldn't have been too difficult to sort out a travel cot but instead you just wait a few days for a response like this: If you still need our help, please reply to this message with "yes" and we'll be in touch as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience. And then after replying 'yes' you'll get this the next day 😂 Hi. We have an update on your query. If you would like to continue this conversation, please respond to this message with "yes". Thanks. Anyway, it was kind of amusing by the end. The accommodation was fine, the kitchen needs updating for sure. The extractor fan doesn't work and some of the pans are warped as anything, but you can still make do.

Great location, spacious and clean house.

Front door lock seized up couldn't lock it from outside had to use the side door to get in/out . Toilet door lock was falling off by the downstairs bedrooms. Island in kitchen had glass extractor fan very low could only use all four rings on hob if you walked round it to the other side !and kept bumping head on it "far too low"
