A really spacious, very private cottage with fantastic views across the countryside from all the windows. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and garden seats so we could enjoy a glass of wine in the garden in the evening sunshine. Beautifully clean.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and clean. I took my mum for her birthday and my little dog. The garden is all enclosed, so he could run about freely. We will definitely be going back here.

The hot water was very, very hot. There could have been a grill pan. One of the pots is losing its non-stick. One of the legs came off the tin-opener whilst using it plus the handle. We moved the two spare chairs from the dining room into the bedroom as there were no chairs there to put our clothes on.

We enjoyed the quietness of the cottage plus the outlook, and the fact that we could walk into Comrie.

Walked into comrie through the fields outside the cottage and nice wee local shops to buy essentials and used the chippy as well.A great wee place to chill and unwind .

The mattress was very hard compared to our liking, but this is just a personal preference.

The cottage is conveniently situated between Comrie and Crieff, featuring the most amazing views from the moment you wake up, with the mountain view from the bedroom window. The property was clean and welcoming and it was equipped with everything we needed.

The lighting in the lounge isn’t ‘cosy’. It’s either too bright or too dark. Would suggest a standard light for reading. Coat hooks in the porch would be a great addition. The lack of a place to sit and dry your hair in front of a mirror in the bedroom.The room was plenty big enough to allow for this. Felt that the hosts communication prior to the visit was minimal and that the check in time was not flexible.

The situation of the cottage was great, very peaceful. Room sizes were great, but would have liked a hairdryer plug closer to the mirror. Everywhere was very clean. Views from the cottage are lovely. I liked the hosts taste in furnishings but felt it needed a little more of a ‘cosy’feel, perhaps rearranging the settees so that they weren’t right against the walls. Dishwasher was fab, plenty big enough for two with an appropriate amount of cutlery, crockery and glasses. We are grateful that the hosts responded effectively and quickly to our requests to supply missing necessities.

We drove past the entrance, despite satnav, but resorted to what3words and got there. The sign could be more prominant at the road side. The fridge made a lot of noise.

The attention to detail was good. Equipment in the kitchen was excellent. There was even a toast rack! The linen was of good quality. Kindling, matches, gloves and logs were there for the log-burner The cottage was well set up. Clear instructions were provided for all the amenities.

Absolutely loved Fairness cottage. Had absolutely everything you needed. Beautiful enclosed, well-kept garden for the dog. So peaceful with beautiful views. Very easy mile walk into Comrie via the field in front of where you park. Loads and loads of walks nearby and only a 14 minute drive from the starting point of Ben Chonzie. WiFi was excellent. Ample logs for the log burner and the bed was super comfy. Lots of hot water for baths after a long walk as well. Perfect!
