I had difficulty finding the entrance to the farm. Bigger signs and lighting at night would have helped.

The location was lovely. Very peaceful with views over paddocks with ponies, chickens and geese.

We stayed for two nights and everything was absolutely perfect. Fantastic breakfast, beautiful views and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners have considered every tiny detail to make your stay perfect. We absolutely loved waking up and watching the ponies and chickens in the garden. We will absolutely be visiting again. Lovely place to stay in if you enjoy observing nature. The hut had everything needed as the hosts are very thoughtful about guests needs. Bonus being spotless clean and very nicely decorated.

It was a bitter cold weekend, but was still very warm and cozy. The view relaxed and calmed you with the twittering of birds all around, that made it that little bit extra lovely. Hosts were amazing, helped in anyway possible and went the extra mile to make our weekend unforgettable. This overall weekend stay will always be remembered and aslong they would have us back. We will be back again for sure. Thank you both again so much.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and it was so magical! The hut itself was very clean and you have everything you need, the bed was super comfy also. The little touches and attention to detail made it that extra special and the continental breakfast was a nice addition. The location was prefect and plenty of walks around the local area and picturesque villages/towns. Being able to sit outside the hut with a glass of wine and dinner and being nestled around the fire pit with marshmallows was so blissful and relaxing. Not to mention being surrounded by the chickens, ponies and geese/ducks was what made it that all the more memorable. We will most definitely be back!

The bathroom light comes on automatically when you open the door. I found it little bit annoying. I drove from London and found roads were little bit scary. If you have never drove countryside, it could be challenging to get there by driving.

It's a lovely family farm. Animals- chicken, ducks and small horses, you can watch them very close and also you can feed then! Surprisingly, it's was super clean and no smells from animals- When I stayed, it was very hot - the temperature went up 31 degrees. Inside out, very clean. I also liked the quietness. There are family houses near by but I hardly saw nor hear anyone.

Nothing 10/10 perfect

Amazing little gem, so comfortable and quaint hut , the animals on the doorstep were so calming and the hosts were so attentive and lovely. The breakfast was really filling and full of choice, the whole hut had everything you needed and so many lovely little touches. We will be coming back! They also have this wonderful little man made pub with pool and other games to play in the evening or on check out, we didn’t want to leave !

It was all perfect

It was absolutely lovely. The shepard hut itself was so cosy and well equipped. There was a bbq to use as well as a fire put outside. The location with the chickens and animals was wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. We definitely want to come back and stay for longer next time.

The Shepards hut is in a private area over looking at field with chicken and ducks which were a joy to watch , the hut was comfy, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and had everything you need for your stay including breakfast Continental and fresh eggs , milk and juice we were so impressed with our stay , we had lovely bbq’s during our stay and toasted marshmallows on the fire pit of an evening , such a wonderful host and lovely family so helpful and kind we can’t recommend enough we will be returning. Such a special spot! Beautiful setting and very snug. All the amenities you need for a weekend get away. Couldn’t recommend more!! To top the trip off - we were able to watch a woodpecker at the bird feed whilst having our morning cuppa! A rare site.
