The cottage was really lovely and private. Attached to the main garden it’s safe and large enough for a few people. The hosts were lovely and checked I had al I needed. Great close to walk to the cafe and basically in the main village street

Lovely, clean cottage with lots of original features. Outside seating areas in the garden. Quiet location. Contained everything needed for a short break.

It would have been nice to have a sofa in the lounge - the place itself is fairly small and I appreciate it may be a squeeze. The four tub chairs did the job.

In the main part of the town, handy for shops, eateries and PUBS overlooking the Avon river ⛵☺️

The small staircase in the house didn't have handrails from halfway to the top. I am slightly disabled and struggled going to the toilet and bedroom, otherwise enjoyed the cottage and lovely garden too. 👍

It was a beautiful and cosy cottage with parking and had everything we needed. And Mark was a star as we had some parcels being delivered and he helped manage these and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend staying here.

    It was all perfect

Well-appointed, comfortable home from home. Cosy cottage with period features. Free parking on site. A short walk to the centre of the village, the river, shops, pubs etc. Quiet and peaceful, lovely gardens and patio spaces to eat outside. Mark was very welcoming and helpful with local information.

Nothing...a great little base for a couple of nights exploring the Cotswolds.

Excellent breakfast. I bought it and cooked it myself! (it wasn't in the deal).

It was a bit more cosy/cramped than we expected, but it was warm, cosy and all good.

Friendly hosts, off road parking, beautiful garden and cat!

Possibly need thicker bedroom curtains, and a dustpan and brush

Very clean little cottage (phew!) set in Fosbroke House's very pretty garden. Location is good, very quiet at night. Met Mark - very friendly host and clearly a great gardener! Bidford on Avon is cute and quirky (and just on the doorstep - literally a minute walk, if that), and The Bridge is a lovely place for lunch or dinner, overlooking the water and apparently Saxon bridge. Alcester is a short drive, and is a wonderful little town, and Stratford is an easy drive too. Coughton Court and Hanbury Hall are 2 nearby National Trust properties, and there's lots of walking opportunities close to hand if you're that way inclined. Would stay there again if we were in the area.

Because of the size, the living room chairs are a bit compact in design, but not enough to bother us too much. Overall it's not enough to detract the many benefits and positives of this cute cottage.

Charming, authentic little cottage in a convenient location.

The furniture was very dated. Uncomfortable chairs in the living room and an uncomfortable mattress. Very squeaky doors. The carpet and furniture could use an upgrade. Compared to other accommodations we stayed in, we had higher expectations for this budget.

Nice space for family, location was ideal for visiting family in immediate area. Only used as base but quality accommodation.

Every thing was great, and more than we needed.

The location was fantastic with so many local amenities. We came for a specific event and the travel time to the event from the cottage was less than 10 minutes. It was a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to book again. If you like watching birds then there is no better place to sit out in a morning. So many of our feathered friends were around.

Nothing to write here. All was wonderful.

Expected a quaint traditional quirky cottage and it was just that! Interesting cottage lots of character.

Was a struggle to see numbers on key box as no light by the door. The 4 bucket chairs weren’t comfy in the living room, bathroom tiny, but out of date inside but clean throughout.
