Good night sleep - we spent most of the time away from the property, it was a pace to the our heads down.

Staff were uninterested, the place was dated and unloved. Last people to get the final Toilet roll in the property! Thank god!

Really nice hotel, well furnished with good character. Room was comfortable and bathroom was fantastic! Helpful staff and brekkie was pukka. Thoroughly enjoyed it here, many thanks guys.

Room could do with updating and some small maintenance issues

The staff, I got a room that had mirrors everywhere and felt like a 1960’s porn motel. Did not stay

Cob webs everywhere in the room. Lack of staff in spa bar area and facilities need updating

Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Cooked breakfast was good.

Unfortunately bedside cabinet was dirty and there was an empty dirty food packet in the drawer, also a piece of litter was on the floor. More attention is needed for the cleaning of the toilet, also the toilet seat was loose. Firealarm Bell was very loose.

Breakfast was very nice. The spa swimming pool was lovely. Staff were all friendly and helpful. There was plenty of free parking and the location was very good.

Room was very dated, and quite dusty. Disappointing that the air con unit was not working. The stairs up to the room had quite a bit of movement, and one step felt very wobbly.

The location and it was clean

The rooms are dated and much needed modernisation, it feel like the spa does well and the hotel is a bolt on to spa not a hotel with a spa. As an example our shower until once had a door which has broken at some point but it has been replaced with a make shift shower curtain

Breakfast ordered was good, rest like coffee was a bit rank

Room was musty ever was very old. This was probably a very classy place in the 1980s but forty years later it desperately needs a makeover and investment

Excellent Hotel. The room was spacious with a decent overhead shower, the outdoor pool was relaxing within tranquil grounds all around the hotel, breakfast options great, location 10 min walk to station, being a short distance to Windsor. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough if you are looking for a relaxing day time with access to local amenities/travel. Fantastic all round for the price

No negatives whatsoever

I spent a night at this hotel after a long, exhausting journey, and from the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. A special thank you to James at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. His kindness, attentiveness, and calm presence made all the difference. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely helpful and caring, especially when you’re tired and far from home. The rest of the staff were also lovely, but James truly stood out. Thank you again for making my stay so easy and comfortable!

The hotel is a little ‘tired’ but the decor is elegant and we had a beautiful room with a sumptuous bathroom and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The chef cooked us a steak au poivre with chips and broccoli the evening before which was very tasty and we had a sticky toffee pudding and cheese and biscuits - all served nicely sitting overlooking the garden. The swimming pool was beyond expectations as warm as a bath
