Lack of elevator was a bit challenging, the shower door was a bit short so the bath mat was wet by the time I finished. The shower had some mold growing in the cracks at the bottom of the shower, but overall looked clean.

The location was great! Close to the city center and shopping. The room was quiet and for the most part clean. Bed was okay, the towel warmer was a definite plus!

The building is old and there are many staircases and doors to open to get to/from room. With luggage this was a bit difficult, but we managed easily due to our age and size of bags. I do believe there is a lift, but we didn't use. Might take this into consideration if someone has limited mobility.

Location was great - it was easy to walk anywhere in Stirling from this hotel! Staff was very friendly and we got in early to our room. Breakfast in the morning was good and they even stored our bags for us on the day of check-out since we had more to explore that day.

Parking was difficult and costly. It would have been very nice to have had a voucher…. Or, to be informed in advance so we would have some options. The hotel was “Older” and could have used a bit of a face lift; but, that’s what to expect in Europe.

Location - I loved being right in the small town. Everything within walking distance. All the help were outstanding! Breakfast - Dining room seating with service was very nice. Breakfast was made to order. Very nice.

Booking should have told us to NOT lug our bags down to reception. We had to then go back up several flights of stairs to our room. Breakfast was not great. Sent the porridge back. It was cold and didn't taste good. Noise from people hanging around restaurant across the street was unexpected. Bed was not very comfortable.

Car park out back was convenient, even if we had to pay. Staff was kind.

The people were great. Excellent breakfast choices and it was fresh and delicious. If you came via the train it is a 5 minute walk up the hill from the station. Good location on heart of it all. Near stiing castle and multiple restaurants, shops etc

The lift is broken and apparently has been for a long time. It is not mentioned anywhere that you will have to climb several levels of stairs to get to your room. We were on the top floor and it was very difficult with our luggage. I imagine that many seniors would not make it and feel it should have been made known on the booking so people have the option of booking a lower floor if they feel thay cannot make the hike.

Amazing location, which is why we booked here. Included breakfast was excellent!

Not much. It is a boutique hotel with its quirks, but that is part of the charm. Had a really terrific time here!

Wonderful location, great, competent and friendly staff, and delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Amazing chef, really gets it.
