Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was an exceptionally clean room. Breakfast was perfect and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Highly recommended.

Everything went smoothly from check in to checkout. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view from the windows - breathtaking. Gerard, Josephine and the staff are extremely kind, warm and welcoming. Would recommend Garron view to everyone.

Garron View's location is quite spectacular, with views of the nearby valleys and farmland. There were cows grazing right outside my window! The family running the B&B are lovely too, and create a nice atmosphere. Judging from the friendly conversations with other guests at breakfast, I think everyone felt the same. I must also mention how comfortable my bed was; I had the best sleep of my entire Irish holiday. I don't want to mention this as a 'dislike' as everything suited me perfectly, but it should be noted that some rooms are quite small and there can be some steep stairs to negotiate, depending on which room you're in.

Would have liked a garden view , but as we didn’t spend much time in our room it did not matter much

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Josie. Even though we arrived late at night, she was there to greet us with a warm welcome, which instantly made us feel at home. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The place was cozy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The breakfast in the morning was not only delicious but also beautifully prepared. Josie is a truly warm and caring host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

We were slightly disappointed that we weren't in the actual Garron View but the accommodation in the Garron House across the road was entirely satisfactory.
We arrived earlier in the day than originally planned, but our room was ready, we could drop our stuff and go into the village. We had dinner at "harry's Restaurant which was very pleasant.

Nothing, everything was great.
An absolutely lovely stay. The room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. The people running the B&B are wonderful. Good breakfast made with love, lots of choices. Thanks for an amazing stay ! 😄 🇫🇷

Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy, right outside the B&B. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view from the window. Breakfast was delicious, there was a great selection in the menu and a nice table setup. Our stay was short and sweet, but we’d love to come back someday!

Check in was easy and effective. We were given detailed information and made to feel very welcome. Both of the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Effective WiFi, good shower. The pancakes at breakfast were delicious.

Amazing value for money, breakfast very good and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. There was an overall friendly atmosphere amongst guests making it easy to communicate. B&B has a great view overlooking the sea and mountains above Cushendall. Good wifi. Would stay again.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The only downside was we had no en-suite, I don't know if this applied to all rooms. However, we still enjoyed our stay and would return.
The owners were absolutely lovely and so friendly. Everything was Immaculate and the views from the house were spectacular. The food was excellent and plentiful.

I arrived late at the property and the host father was waiting for me just to welcome me and show me around. The family-run B&B is full of heart-warming energy, I felt that also at breakfast, which was fantastic. I had the two single bed room for me alone , although I booked a single bed room. But they gave me the room because it has an ensuite bathroom, thank you for that! The beds are very comfortable, no noise from downstairs, had a good sleep. Great value for money, I highly recommend Garron View!!
